As year reaches 2012, immigrants made up 13 percent of the total population in the United States.(The Facts on Immigration Today, 1) The population rapidly increase with immigrants and native-born Americans. Do you know anyone who is an immigrant and is struggling because of the unfamiliar surrounding? There are many things an immigrant needs to know in order to survive in a new environment because information about medicine will heal them from sickness that might occur in the future, the laws will protect them from any social injustice, and information about transportation will help them get from one place to another easier and faster.

It is a process to see if there is anything wrong with the body or something is inside the body that you was not aware of. Also the medical examination is needed if an immigrant wants a Green Card. Green Card is the process an immigrant takes to become a permanent resident in the United States.(HealthCare.gov, 2) However, getting a medical examination is not an easy process for a foreign immigrant can do by themselves.
