I agree with that statement about why we can not believe someone for a 100 percent for all the times or occurrences. Why can not we trust someone for 100 percent? First thing first, let me talk about trust. To trust is to believe to someone or something because you put your faith in that person or thing, so that you could rely on that. So by what i said or type before it is clear that we should really be careful about putting our trust in someone because, well, you do not want to put your trust in someone you do not know right? It is a common sense anyway. A trust is hard to get, even when you are close or relatively close to some person. A person can or can not easily be trusted, because we do not know if the person holds some sort of dark
What is trust? The dictionary meaning of trust is a firm belief in the reliability, truth, ability, or strength of someone or something. The second meaning is, confidence placed in a person by making that person the nominal owner of property to be held or used for the benefit of one or more others. But what can we really define as trust? In this paper, I will discuss how trust is used every day in different situations, how we deal with trust in various relationships, and how we as individuals practice trust within ourselves.
Hard to gain; easily lost. Trust is earned, not given. Trust is a bond that brings humans as closely as love does. Trust could be a feeling, or a cause and effect type of thing. Of course, one cannot say that trust is infinite. Because trust can be gained and lost, and is seen in the actions of us humans as we live our lives. Some perceive trust as being put it in things such as, God, science, doctors, parents, or even water treatment plant operators. Other people look at trust only within in a relationship perspective, such as, being there for your mate. For example, trusting, supporting and showing genuine care for one another. Trust would also be demonstrated through consistency in his/her actions. For example, showing up for dates agreed-upon time. Keeping private information just between the two of you and always respecting boundaries. If you only look at trust from these ways you limit trust. Trust covers nearly every aspect of our lives and displays who you are as individuals. Trust should be earned not given, and some of the traits of trust are authenticity, experience, confidence, honesty, and integrity.
My parents say “to trust is to love,” yet that cannot be the case. No one loves every person they trust (a good teacher, for example). Besides, you may love someone, but not trust them at all, such as a rowdy brother. As celebrity Lady Gaga once said, “Trust is like a mirror; you can fix it if it’s broken, but you can still see the crack.” George McDonald can contrast love with trust, too: “To be trusted is a greater compliment than being loved.” It’s not quite a simple feeling of pleasure and bonding when you trust someone; it is a relationship much more serious, much easier to betray, and much harder to build up.
Personal experiences in the past have demonstrated how conflict can divide me from the ones I trust. To trust someone is to be able to rely on them, to count on them and to have enough faith in them to not be wary of them telling anyone your secrets. Having a friend that you completely trust and then discover they have betrayed you is like a ‘slap in the face,’ unexpected, stinging and something that leaves you temporarily immobilised. A
This draws us to the question on why we must trust people in our lives. Trust is a necessary bond for the foundation of any relationship that seeks to flourish. If you do not trust someone, you do not expect them to uphold their promises to you without asking. Furthermore, trust is a bond that should not be forced or
That’s all opinions, if we want to be politically correct, then trust is “a firm reliability, truth, ability, or strength of something or someone.” Without a doubt, my disagreement is high with this comment. Some people are reliable, but are not trustworthy enough to balance a bucket of water above your head without dropping it. So, the belief a person has in somebody can go both ways, because it can also be that they can trust somebody with their secrets, they just cannot trust them to save them from an endangered
Having trust makes one fell safe and free of fear enough so that they can focus on other things.
Trust is a word that is constantly used by people on a regular basis. It is always being given, taken back, tested, or confirmed, and it is something that is prevalent in literature. In King Arthur and his Knights of the Round Table, King Arthur, the notably gallant and selfless leader of Britain, partakes on quests with his knights that require bravery and chivalry. As presented through the actions of characters in King Arthur and his Knights of the Round Table, trust is the belief in the reliability of someone and it is something that is earned, not rashly given; it is given based on the qualities, reputation, or the strength of the relationship with that someone.
I agree , we can’t believe someone 100% at all time . Why ? in fact we are a liar sometimes, have you ever been telling lie to your friends ? Or even to your family ? I guess you have . Even we can’t believe ourselves sometimes and believing someone 100% doesn’t mean they will believe us 100% too . So why we telling lies ? maybe this essay can help you to answer it.
“Trust is more of an acquired ability than a feeling, it can be nurtured and learned. It is a slow process. Everyone were born with a propensity to trust others but through our life experience we may have become less trusting as a way of protecting ourselves” (Clifford, 2013 April 04).
Trust is sociological perceptions communicating the optimistic belief that an individual, group or a system we interact with will act as anticipated. In our daily life, we continuously and often unconditionally put our trust in other parties. In general, such trust-based exchanges work out in a correct way, because the parties we work together are trustworthy. As the whole society depends on such trust dealings between people and systems, and if nothing could be trusted, such dealings would not last very long. However, we do not live in an ideal world, and it would be very immature to think that everybody is fundamentally trustworthy. In this society, many parties have obvious motives to act in an honest manner. Hence we need systems or support
Trust is not something that should be taking lightly. One trust can make a different world. But, we can’t trust someone 100%, because there is a few factor that explain why. First, we can’t guess anyone thoughts. example like how a girl think about how a boy see her make up, maybe the boy will think it’s like usual or it’s not match and maybe it look good on the girl. Many possibility of thoughts on one event.
When it comes to trusting other people, we all have had our challenges in life. Trust is a thing that we suppose to have at home, church, and our place of work. Let’s face it we all have to trust someone, even though we may make the term “I don’t trust anyone” but that’s a false statement. One scenario is that we have to trust the drivers on the road everyday, even though we might not know the other driver, I trust that he or she will stay on their side of the road. When you go to a fast food restaurant, you trust that the cooks will prepare your food the way it supposes to be. The term Trustis a positive expectation that another will not through words, action, or decision according to Robbins, P., S., & Judge, A., T., (2009). Most of
Trust is a value that was very hard for me to learn. I was always afraid that someone was going to hurt me one way or another. My mother was always telling me that I should learn to trust others so that they could help me from time to time, but I never could do it. Eventually I finally learned to trust others a few years ago. I have realized that other people can do many things for you if you just trust in them. This helps me in the relationships I have with my friends. Trust doesn’t happen overnight, it takes time. I have learned that trusting certain people is worth the risk, and helps the relationships I have with them.
When I hear the word trust I think of friends. You have to have a lot of trust in your friends and they need to be able to trust you. I have a huge amount of trust in my best friend, I tell her everything. There are some people who say that you can trust them, but then it turns out that you can’t and they’ve told everyone your secret. I think that trust is confiding in a person or people that you know if you say, “don’t tell anyone,” they won’t tell anyone. For instance, in Romeo and Juliet, Friar Laurence kept Romeo and Juliet’s trust by not telling anyone about their marriage. I think that Romeo and Juliet trusted each other enough
