When I hear the word family, I think of people who are are blood related, the people you live with, and the people you see all the time. They provide for you and embarrass you. People are also family, even if they aren’t blood related, but are there for you no matter what and they mean everything to you. Family is always by your side when you need them. People hear family and think about parents, I hear family and think about my parents, aunts, cousins, friends, and my karate family. They are all so important to me and I don’t know what I would do without them. On the other hand, Romeo and Juliet displayed family in an interesting way. When Juliet said she didn’t want to marry Paris, her mother said she would disown her if she didn’t do …show more content…
Loyalty is sticking with the people who have hurt you or lost your trust. It’s having someone’s back even though they might’ve stabbed you in yours. When you have loyalty, you don’t leave someone just because they said something mean about you or you heard something from someone else. They might have hurt you, or you might’ve gotten into an argument, but at the end of the day you will always be best friends. When you have loyalty is doesn’t matter what they said or what they did, you love them anyway. Similarly, how Romeo and Juliet get married behind their parents’ backs. Also, how when Romeo thought that Juliet was dead, he went and got a poison and killed himself. Another example is when Tybalt kept his loyalty to the Capulet family by killing Mercutio.
When I hear the word trust I think of friends. You have to have a lot of trust in your friends and they need to be able to trust you. I have a huge amount of trust in my best friend, I tell her everything. There are some people who say that you can trust them, but then it turns out that you can’t and they’ve told everyone your secret. I think that trust is confiding in a person or people that you know if you say, “don’t tell anyone,” they won’t tell anyone. For instance, in Romeo and Juliet, Friar Laurence kept Romeo and Juliet’s trust by not telling anyone about their marriage. I think that Romeo and Juliet trusted each other enough
Loyalty is trait that every person in the world should have. An example of loyalty is when
Whether it's standing by a sibling in times of need or supporting a friend through difficult times, loyalty plays a significant role in shaping the bonds that refine our lives. Through the struggles and triumphs of the characters, we gain a deeper appreciation for the complexities of loyalty and its impact on the human
There’s many points of views on how loyalty is interpreted. Showing support towards one another, because of of the feeling of duty and love for eachother. Many terms such as love, friendships, and family relationships relate to it. Although all friends have their differences, loyalty overcomes the conflict between them and strengthens their friendship.
We all know loyal is praised by people.Be loyal to someone means you do not do anything bad to them. For example, you do not betray your
Loyalty is a trait that is desired throughout all cultures. In Beowulf’s quest to assist Hrothgar’s kingdom from a terrible demon, Grendel, Beowulf and his comrades show what true loyalty is in their most vulnerable times. Beowulf was the first warrior to offer aid for Hrothgar’s problem. He ended off with a victory and later ended up sacrificing his life for others. Even though in “Beowulf” loyalty is critical to reputation, modern day culture demonstrates that loyalty doesn’t have much of a significance anymore, but it can still be found.
Another example that supports this theme of how loyalty is important can be about the pet Odyssey had. Odyssey had a loyal dog that was there with him through everything. The dog was left when his owner was called away to adventure and war, yet the dog stayed put, not leaving his spot. The dog didn’t depart and showed dedication and trust to his owner. Similar to Odysseus’ position, it would take less effort and pain to just move on and forget since being loyal cost him his life. Argos however, stayed true to the theme and showed how loyalty can either build new bonds or make old bonds stronger. The author proves this claim by including the text, “ But death and darkness in that
“Loyalty and devotion lead to bravery. Bravery leads to the spirit of self-sacrifice. The spirit of self-sacrifice creates trust in the power of love.” - Morihei Ueshiba. Loyalty is a strong feeling of allegiance and support. Being Loyal to your family, friends and putting them before the law shows loyalty. Loyalty is more important than justice. Family and friends are more important than the law and should come before everything.
Here we are faced with a problem. What is loyalty? Is loyalty siding with a family member/friend regardless whether the person is right or wrong? Is loyalty, 'either you are with me or against me'? How far will we willingly go out on a limb to be loyal at the expense of ourselves, and maybe our careers and daily bread, or the bigger picture? These are questions which are haunting me.
Loyalty is the act of showing support and guidance to someone a person cares for. Shakespeare wrote the play King Lear with many occasions of disloyalty. The betrayal between characters most likely had significancte into England during in that time period. There were many events of tragedy that was corresponding to King Lear. In addition to the tragedy, very few characters stayed loyal to the people who were supposed to the most. Most of the survivors of the tragic King Lear were the only characters who showed loyalty to a main character of the story. Therefore, Shakespeare incorporated the use of death of disloyal characters to show the lack of dependability and greed of power of many in the
Trust has multiple definitions, but when I think about trust, always coming through, and being trustworthy are the first ideas that come to mind. Most importantly, Trust can be defined as someone you can tell anything to. You can have trust with your family, friends and relatives. People may see trust differently based on past experiences or events. For example, someone who has trustworthy friends who tends to keep secret information secret, might view trust positively. But, someone who has friends that can’t keep secrets, and tells everything they hear might view trust in a negative way. Therefore, I believe that trust had many different view and definitions which are a lot different than what I would ever have expect creating a never ending
Loyalty is one of the important factors that influences people because loyalty provides stability for any long-lasting relationship. In The Odyssey, an epic poem by Homer, Penelope shows us the value of loyalty because she is hopeful that her husband will come back, and she does not want to marry anyone who is not him.
Loyalty is like a shadow it’s something that’s with you all of the time, but sometimes it’s hidden. Most people don’t show their loyalty hidden, but loyalty is something that’s not supposed to be hidden .To me loyalty is when someone is there for someone else. Loyalty is a characteristic many people should strive to have; it earns the trust and respect of many. A loyal person would never be able to fail someone because they are trustable. Loyalty is everywhere and there are many different kinds of loyalty.
Imagine being crammed into a tiny space with your annoying sister and your gross brother for 48 hours!! with nothing to do but complain. My family and I are not close whatsoever. We aren't the type of family that eats dinner together and congratulates mom on the tasty dish she made that took hours. We don't go on family vacations E-V-E-R. We don't hug each other when we are upset, so already I think you get an idea of how bothersome my family is. We argue for the most ridiculous reasons. We are like lions and tigers fighting over who gets the piece of meat.So when I tell you what a pain in the butt this road trip was, I’m not exaggerating!
My grandparents got married at a courthouse, and they lasted for seventy years before they passed away. When I was younger, I asked them what it took to make a marriage last that long, and they said a lot of compromise and love. They said they may have had a lot of stress and arguments, but they always worked through it together and talked things out. The only serious argument I ever remember them having was when I was a child. My grandfather used to joke that he was going to trade my grandmother in for a newer model. Well one day while fixing breakfast he told her that and it was the last straw she had on hearing that saying, so she picked up the cast iron skillet and threatened to knock him out with it if he ever said that again. About an hour or so later they were making up and hugging each other, and he told her “Dear you know I'd never trade you in, you're my other half.” Even though they had been together all those years they still showed each other how much they cared for and loved one another. Even if it was a small thing like him buying flowers on a random day for her or her getting a new tie for him for church, they were each other's soul mates. When they got married my grandmother was only eighteen and my grandfather was twenty-two they ended up having four kids and a bunch of grand kids and great grand kids. We were a very close family because of them and the way they had a hand in helping to raise us and showing us right from wrong. When they started out as a
All of my life all I ever wanted was to be accepted by my family. Both families said negative things about me all the time. My mother’s side of the family would say things like, “oh, she is crazy just like her father’s side”. In other words they were saying I was mentally challenged and had behavioral health problems. That was something I didn’t see, understand nor did I know anything about. Then my father’s side of the family would say things like, “oh, she is just like her mother’s side a whore sleeping around with men”. We know now where that came from because my father was married to someone else when I was conceived. Oh well, it is what it is.
