Explain Why Students Should Not Have Cell Phones In School

Why have cell phones a good or bad thing for kids minds? Banning cell phones in school would limit students learning by more things coming from the teacher and having better grades. According to the text, "Banning Cell Phones in Schools" has evidence for the following side.

What, you think using cellphones at school is a good idea. Now days cell phones have so many used apps and while student's are at school they are attempting to look on their phones. Everywhere you go in this present time all you see is toddlers on up to adults with phones because they are so addicted to technology. People would rater buy new phones that the company comes out with instead of buying things that they need because they think they can survive with a cell phone. Cell phones are very helpful but so many people have took advantage of that and have become so addicted to them. Now days in this particular time everything is at everyone's fingertips and they get what they want when they want it. When they ask someone for something they want or need that they can't get on a cell phone, they expect to get it right at that second that they ask for it. Using cell phones at school is a bad idea. School's should not allow student's to use their cell phones at school.

Most schools do not allow the use of cell phones in school or in class, so the school feels like changing their policy of cell phone use might be a bad idea. Students could take advantage or miss use the privilege of phones in class. There will always be students who act out in class, but the school must discipline those who do and reward those who do not.

Children all over the world have phones, but they can not have them out during school hours. Cell phones are important to so many kids and adults. These devices have been around for so long, and many people can not live without them. All around the school campus, students are miserable without their phones. In the world today, about three-fourths of the U.S. population have phones. A cell phone is an important thing to some people. Without cell phones, kids wouldn't have access to their social media accounts like Snapchat, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and more. So take this into consideration, even if it is in one class, students should be allowed to get on their cell phones during school hours.

I agree with Linda Sidner i believe “tweens” shouldn’t have a cell phone yet because children could misuse the cell phone and not be responsible . Kids do not have responsibility yet at a young age and could use the cell phone the wrong way . I also agree with Linda and i believe children should be at least 16 years old. . Kids do not need a cell phone because they could also use other adults phone or sister’s Children could easily misuse a cell phone cause they simply don’t need it . There are other ways to keep in contact with a parent because they could always use a sibling phone or if at school a teacher can call home .

It has became very common for kids to have phones. There are young kids that rely on having a phone around to have fun. Teenagers never put their phones down. Students should not be allowed to have phones in elementary and high school.

“Who has their phone on!?” As students, we are tired of hearing that over and over again. But my question is why can’t we use our phones in school? We need them in school; for emergencies, so we can have books, and to make things neater. We should be able to use our phones.

Students should be allowed to use their phones at school because it could be used for math, they can use it to contact their parents when something bad happens,also can be useful for emergency purposes. However when I researched “Should students be allowed to bring their phones to school”? They think that students should get to have their phones during school hours. Because they feel like the students could have communication with their classmates/ friends. Some schools don’t allow them because they are a distraction when teachers are trying to teach. When students use their phones during school hours the teachers take them away and keep them until the end of the day or they keep them until their parents come to the school to get their kids

The right age that kids should have a cellphone is 13 ,14,15,`16,17,18 because kids need phones to call when something is happen or when you need something . when you are young you do not need a phone becaues you will try to call 911 or anyboby so that why littel kids do not need cell phone when they are littel and when you are littel you dont need a phone any way.

Most students are asking the same question, why can't we have our phones in school without the fear of getting in trouble or it gets it taken up. The truth is the cell phone is a very useful learning tool and can be used for emergency. There are a lot of productive uses for cell phones other than texting and social media and cyberbullying. To add another reason it would give the students a sense of freedom because as a student myself, I feel like students are not given much freedom in schools.
