The Univesity rules are very iprotant, and every student should follow the rules. It is important because those roles will improve the ejucation system. The question beening asked is that the student should be required to attend classes, or the student going to classes shouldbe optional. I believe that going to the classes should be optional for to reasones. The first reason we can notice the good teacher. If giong to classes optional, most of the student will go to the classes that presnted by good teachers, becuse most of the students belive they will get importent information with easy presentation. so the university can distinguse the skilled and not skilled teachers.
For example, when I was in the dental school in Baghdad, we hav
The main issue to take into account is the brash generalization that students should abide the same strict attendance policies when most situations are circumstantial. Furthermore, if a student is paying for their education at the university, it should be there responsibility to take initiative of their learning, and not the responsibility of the teacher. Going to a university does not only build you skillset, but also fosters independence, that will only be hindered by strict
Students should not have homework. First here are my reasons why some kids don't do it . According to resch 10 % out of 20% students don't do homework. Scond students should have time for some fun stuff. 20 % out of 6 % students play games 8 hours a day in school and students have game, clubs, stuff and go until 8/9 hours a night and don't get a nuff sleep. Third homework sometimes it reck the sports. And Kids don't study and kids don't use class time they talk instead of doing homework. Next kids don't fish there homework don't want to do it. 30% out 40 % do it in team team study is only 42 minutes. After school 15 minutes go to relaxing that why we should have no homework.
By the perspective of college professors; who enforce such mandatory policies, give a couple of arguments for requiring the students’ attendance. One their arguments in favoring a mandatory attendance policies is they believe good attendance develops a strong sense of community in the classroom, and it fosters a sense of class participation.(Rockler-Gladen) Reason for this is many professors opt to have a participatory classroom filled with discussions and activities. They understood that this type of teaching requires students to participate by coming to class, but the experience can be beneficial and rewarding for the
Schools in America shouldn’t have homework. It has been proven to not help with test scores or school work, but what it does help with, is lowering students’ health. I believe that schools should assign little or no homework, It does little to help and more to hurt the students. For instance, most students don’t have computers and are financially unable to get one. This is unfair and can cause the student to be behind on their schoolwork. Another reason is that students are so loaded with schoolwork and other family/friend activities that they don’t have enough time to do what they really need to. Lastly, the Finnish school system has shorter school days, more recess, and starts at the age of 7. Yet, it has been proven that they get one of the highest test scores internationally.
All children and young people have an equal right to education and learning. Inclusion means that all children and young people, regardless of their background or situation, should be included in all aspects of education and they have the right to participate fully in the curriculum. All schools should be inclusive, they need to recognise that every individual is different and this needs to be accepted. Schools should celebrate all the differences and similarities within their pupils. This can refer to differences and similarities in religion, culture, beliefs and disability. Every child needs to have a sense of belonging, they need to feel valued and accepted. If a child feels valued and accepted their confidence and self-esteem will increase.
For the week of November 6th, the reading that I reacted to most was Social Problems by D&B. On page 247, D&B write that low socioeconomic status is the most likely reason why students drop out of school. Kids from low income families drop out at a rate that is 4 times higher than kids from middle and upper-class families. I was surprised by this information because in my opinion, kids shouldn’t be allowed to drop out of school because school and education is essential to be successful in life. If kids are dropping out of school, they will likely not amount to much in life, and since kids are more likely to drop out if they come from low income families, they will follow in their parents’ footsteps and also have a low income. Low income kids
Timmy goes to school one day and finds out that there’s going to be extracurricular activities going on after school. The school tells Timmy he has to participate in football, but Timmy has always dreamed of playing basketball. There it is the look of disappointment on Timmy’s face, he just knows that his hopes and dreams are quickly going to waste. I think schools should not control extracurricular activities because some parents may not have the money to pay for the uniforms, students may have an after school job, and students’ parents may not own a vehicle.
A major issue in the teenage years is stressing over school homework, projects, extracurricular, and more, complaining about the problem with the amount of time. At this stage in life, teenagers start thinking more abstractly, and start to drift off. Parents additionally become influenced by their children’s thoughts, or begin worrying about them. Therefore, schools should provide less days of school days, but extend the amount of school hours each day for middle school, compared to five days a week of school with about seven hours a day.
While studying or even registering for a class presents a challenge to some college students, the greatest obstacle remains, going to class. Attending college is supposed to signify a new found freedom to make many important choices regarding education without high school mandatory attendance policies. However, students everywhere are coming to the staggering realization that college is not too different from high school. Teachers still take class roll and students are still expected to be at every class on time. What next, hall monitors in the hall? The time has come for action to be taken. Colleges must abolish mandatory student attendance policies for several reasons to be further discussed.
How many times have you heard a student ask when he or she will use the learned information from school in the real world? When will I ever use cursive again? Why do I have to memorize the entire periodic table? Why must I memorize the years served by every single president? These questions may sound redundant and obnoxious, but they occur on an everyday basis at school. There is also some truth behind it as well. The public school systems are having students decide their career pathways earlier and earlier every year. I recall taking career finder tests in middle school, at the mere age of 13. If students are being forced into choosing their future, then why aren’t students allowed to chose their present: their classes. Students should be able to pick their desired schedule, without worrying about mandatory classes. Schools must support individuality pertaining to this topic because students are not all on the same level, are not all good at the same subjects, and some mandatory classes don’t prepare a set group of these individuals for their future.
My first paragraph I would like to talk about is changing a school rule I would like to be in school only 1 hour a day. This essay will explain why I would like to have school 1 hour a day with a whole year of school except for summer and Christmas I hope you find my essay interesting.
There are several reasons why kids need to go to school but to me, the top three reasons are getting an education helps you go farther in life, it’s required by the state that you go till you reach a certain age, and it will help you learn social skills and help you be comfortable to talking to people. Although students may not like going to school, it benefits them in the long run. It is important for students to go to school to get an education. Even though some students may not like to go to school it is required that they go. Even though students may not realize it but they also learn social skills by making friends and talking in front of people.
Summertime, when it is the time to be free of school responsibilities, but across the U.S. millions of kids are preparing to take the SATs. They are looking into SAT prep classes, SAT tutors, and SAT prep groups, all to get ready to take the SATs for the next school year. The reason why so many kids are looking into dishing out hundreds or even thousands of dollars on SAT prep is because of the weight that SATs hold on college admissions. Colleges, guidance counselors, and even teachers stress the importance of the SAT on the chance of the student getting into the college of their dreams. Kids stress over college every day, and if SATs are such an important factor into getting into college, then obviously kids will be stressing for the perfect score. SAT supporters defend the use of that test because they say that it is a good predictor of the success of students and helps narrow the pool of applicants, while SAT opposers say that SATs are not effective in predicting the success of a student and are not necessary. SAT scores should be eliminated as a factor in college admissions because it does not accurately predict the future success of a person, it causes too much stress and it is not fair to certain minority groups.
The demand for a higher education degree is becoming more and more prevalent and necessary; and with tens of thousands of dollars being spent on college tuition annually (over 14,000 dollars for in-state public tuition, and over 33,000 dollars for in-state private tuition on average, according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics), students are forking out a lot of money for a quality education. Though college degrees are becoming more of a necessity for most well paying jobs, it is still the student’s choice to attend college and spend all of that money. I believe that as consumers of the service that is education, if students are to spend this kind of money, they should be able to control their time spent
High school is hard. There are bullies, people who harass others. People who have disabilities try harder because they can't understand as well. Kids ask themselves every day: why am I in school maybe I should just drop out. These questions may feel like two sides of the same coin, but there are separate issues here: What are the legal requirements for attending school and dropping out? Even if you can drop out legally, what are the probable consequences? Every state has their own laws as to when a child may drop out. "For instance, several states allow students to leave school if they: have received their parents' written consent and have participated in an exit meeting with school officials are legally emancipated, or are attending high school part time and are either legally employed or enrolled in a private vocational school."
