Explain how the final website is suitable for the intended audience and purpose.
For this assignment, I will be explaining how my portfolio, meets my target audience and purpose.
The final website is suitable for intended audience because I have created wide range of written documents and images for the portfolio. My websites is available to be viewed in mobile phone, internet explorer and chrome after I tested the accessibility, so this meets the audience who wants to access my website though a web browser. Also, the audience is everyone. Therefore, I have included wide range of different colours for the younger side of the audience.
The website meets the users need because its state that the focus of the website is to show the

People of different ages have different reactions to colours. Consequently, different colours made my website stand out and it looks interesting. This will affect the audience because different colours will attract their eyes, which will get the users to pay more attention to my website. I have used different colours in my website because Men tend to prefer blue and orange to red and yellow, while women prefer red to blue and yellow to orange. Consequently, I have used different colours. However, I don’t think I have given myself enough time to finish the website as I wanted to add more videos and audio. I should have putted more content in my website to make it more interesting and a lot more information for my target audience.
I had to change my logo in portfolio because the logo was too simple it didn’t have any text. Therefore, I changed my logo. I believe that logo is the most important because it stands out; logo can be understood by all without much confusion. Good logo would be unique and understandable. A great logo speaks directly to your target audience. Also, people are more responsive to visual image than
With the availability of numerous website builders and online portfolio tools, many of which are free of charge, creating an online portfolio is both quick and easy. However, through the course of my research for this assignment
On a website the opening page is vital to not only the persons experience on the site, but also the over all impression on the subject. There are several ways that a persons perception can be manipulated to feel a certain way, on a website; the layout, accessibility of information, and images. When accessing the El Paso Zoo website the first thing that catches the attention of the audience is the back ground. Which is the El Paso skyline with the franklin mountains accompanied by some exotic animals. This creates a personal connection with the views by combining something that is familiar and has emotional connection with something new that brings a new excitement to this emotional
The first piece of my portfolio is my resume. The original copy of my resume lacked a branding statement and did not have a summary of qualifications. I learned through the process that
Their Behance portfolios are in the small views, for audiences to see and explore the details of the images when they enter the project page and allows them to appreciate and share their work. The reason for that differences is marketing strategies. They market their projects to appeal to the audience and exhibit their work to inspire the audiences. These images can turn the viewer attention on the tone and details of the images, create a desire to explore, and give feedbacks on images. This strategy can increase the audience’s desire to learn the personality of the images and keep their interests in
Keep to a color palate of no more than 3 basic colors. Include a variety of media options, such as video, tables, links, etc. Make the site more interesting by creating different looks for different pages.
Also I am creative when I work with videos, images, audio clips, and other multimedia. I started using my website by first choosing a background that fits the topic’s perspective. There were certain situations where I could not get brief information on a certain subject because I wasn’t able to find it. For example, I could not expand the details on what she studied in her education. In fact, I wanted to aim at combining on the essential components of my research. Therefore, I had to revisit my notes and incorporate them on my
This paper is a written evaluation of three websites that were designed to reach a specific target audience. All three sites' reach their target audience, however they accomplish this in a slightly different way. During this paper, we will discuss the strength and weaknesses of each site, the design criteria used to evaluate them, and how to improve some of the weaknesses associated with each site.
This will make it easier for me to be aware of the format I will using and the house style. However, I changed the format and the colours as I wanted the website to look professional rather than having it all bright and informal. This makes it easier having a storyboard being aware of the elements, which will be added. Also, I have added an explanation of my font styles, colours, graphics and hyperlinks. I have added this information because as it was required to complete Task Bi and I wanted AJS Maps the reason I have chosen the theme of the colour and the rest as I wanted the website to look professional and appealing. Also, to make it easy to read and
Reflection: Think about what type of portfolio you desire. Do not rush at this step because the more time you spend at this first step, the easier your job will be to effectively complete. Questions like: Is my portfolio for a potential employer?; Is my portfolio for my family to view?; or Is my portfolio for acceptance in an educational institution? are probing enough to help you to zoom in on what you want to accomplish. Once the vision of your audience is firmly established, you will have a mission statement.
Even if a website has good information architecture and content, poor design can take away from the two elements and negatively affect the usability of the site. According to Johnson, successful web design is minimalistic and easily readable with font choices and color palettes (39). The design of Sassy Fox’s website is either extremely busy and misleads users or is minimalistic to a fault. Examples of these extremes are the website’s header and user forms.
The goal of this portfolio is displace my experience during my time in the MPA program. One way that I did is by providing the artifacts. Also through this portfolio, I am able to identify my strength and weaknesses. As a public administrator, I believe it is important to know ones strengths so that they can be use to lead other (e.g. employees and the public). The public administrator is consider as a leader in the community and even a role model. As a result, it is important for the administrator to be ethical at time.
Our tactic for improving website content, structure and functionality is to completely create a new website from scratch. By entirely redesigning the website, we are able to recreate the absolute brand image. We will effectively re-use the blue and white colour scheme to keep the sentimental roots and familiar foundation, however, we will optimize the product itself by increasing visual image and video aid throughout the website content. Both the visual and video aid will
I'm not saying make-up is evil, but we all know what's in somewhat good taste, and what isn't. But, hey!, I could be wrong: There could actually be a great person hiding under that crusty exterior; most of the time there is. A balance needs to be achieved or at least strived for when designing a web page or any page for that matter. I'm not trying to rag on Raygun or anything, because I like A LOT of the stuff that they do, but one must not get carried away with it and ignore what one is supposed to be doing in the first place. For this reason I have chosen to pick on the Alternative X web site (http://www.altx.com/), for this paper. Well, not really pick on them, but you know what I mean. So in our quest to discover the ideal web page we must look at the following things: 1) Does it make sense? Is its layout so erratic in such a way as to render the viewer blind because of the designers lack of vision and utter stupidity? 2) Organization. How and why were things placed in the places they were placed, needs to be known, or at least made seemingly apparant. 3) Since this is a web site we are critiquing, and like a Choose-Your-Own-Adventure Book one can skip to another section with almost no fear of being inquisitioned, does its "links" lead to somewhere meaningful?
An effective-designed website is important to catch the attention of visitors in the first place and help to keep them to exploring further into it. Ikea has content displayed and organized consistently across its site. Information is presented in a readable manner with effectively use of white space between text and image. White space allows visitors to feel more relax and focus on the content or message that Ikea try to convey through the site as its
