While America is different, it is the greatest country for its opportunities because it gives people from around the world a opportunity to restart their life and make it better. America is great to me because I always had the health care I needed and the support that you need to have a healthy life. America has fought many wars for this country and for many others, and I respect that others put themselves at risk to keep this country great and free.

Also there is no slavery legally allowed and the United States law enforcement and Judicial system is not as corrupt as some other countries such as Brazil or Mexico.

All of our ancestors with exception of the native American Indian’s, came here to have a new start as U.S. citizens, and to live in a "free" country. America is known as the land of opportunity. Being an American means that one has the freedom to choose the way he or she wants to live. They have the option to be a contribution to society or not. America gives the people a choice with everything they do in their lives. In America’s bill of rights states that everyone has the right to say what they want to say, believe what religion they want, and express themselves freely. The Bill of rights gives the freedom to the people of the United States, not the government. This is an example of how it feels to be an American.

America is known for it’s freedom. Freedom to speak your opinion, freedom to practice any religion that you choose, and freedom to criticize the government. American’s are able to have the power or right to act, speak, or even think about almost anything they wanted to without restraint from the government or from other people. Migrants come to the United States to become free. To raise a family away from war torn cities or harsh governments. They come to America in hope of getting the chance to succeed in life and express themselves without anybody critiquing them. However America is not as free as it’s made out to be. American history has been filled with racism and discrimination against people’s race, religion, and social groups. From slavery and the civil rights movement to recent threats towards muslims. People judge other people by the things they wear, the color of their skin, or by the way they act. America is not free. America was never free. There was and is still discrimination against race, religion, and social groups. Americans were not equal and rights can differ between people and social classes and sadly it’s still happening today. It may be hard to digest or painful to hear but America is far from the freedom that it’s known for.

America is, and always has been a very ambitious and prestigious country. America is known for being an accepting country to numberless amounts of people, cultures, and ideals. Even from the early years of America, it has always been seen as a tremendous, model country. We went from being the first country to have a self-run government to being an inspiring example to other countries to have similar policies. The United States has set many precedents throughout its existence. To me, being American means that I am part of a great country that gives us freedom, does not discriminate, and cares about its citizens.

Being American means you are free, you have rights and freedoms that most people don’t and you are able to be as unique as you want. As someone who values being different and having choices this is very important to me. We are lucky to be able to say we are American’s and that we have these rights, because a lot of countries don’t give their citizens this kind of freedom.

People from back then were a lot better with finding different ways to do thing if that first way didn't work. They didn't have anything do it for them they also were not as modern so they didn't have machines do it for them.

Although America is known for its prestigious reputation as the land of opportunities and freedom it is straying away from that reputation because of restrictive immigration laws and stereotypes.

USA’s religion circumstances are pretty straight forward as far as freedom of religion. It is similar to Canada and Mexico as far as freedom of religion. The country is a great place to live in if you want to have a different religion while maintaining freedom of speech. One of the differences regarding religion in the USA is that more than half of the country is Protestant. For a country that has freedom of religion, the majority is a significant number.
