Doctors should not give pharmaceuticals to kids that have behavioral problems for many reasons. It is an important topic that has many parents wondering what the possibilities are. Many people are misunderstood the help for behavioral problems. The population is prescribed different kind of medication for example: Prozac, Celexa, Zoloft, etc. When the children are taking this medication, their emotions and mental state will change. The children will keep their emotion locked up inside themselves which would then lead to depression or more serious actions. The people have to understand what the children really need. When the technology grew, so did the problems that come with it. Twenty-four percent of the parent’s in their 30’s, said they have use their technology devices twice a day. A solution would be communicated with their children and put their devices away and not use when they’re with themselves. In 2010, many programs that gave support and information got their budgets cut off. These people no longer have a safe space to be giving help nor support. We have to see the facts and analysis the data to have a solution to help the children, to have a good and healthy life in the future. On the other hand, pharmaceuticals give reason to believe it is the best option available for a quick and easy fix for the child’s behavioral problem. It is simply a hassle to have to schedule treatments, and appointments, so it is more efficient to get a simple solution that you know is effective. This type of medication is known to be generally used to help those that are affected by behavioral problems, so there is no need to stop using pharmaceuticals that are known to work. According to Leah Amirian from Special Needs, if diagnosed with a behavior problem and evaluated by a professional, use of medication should be considered to successfully treat the condition. This clearly expresses that pharmaceuticals are efficient in treating those with behavioral problems.
