As a direct care worker, he interacted with clients in ways that taught him much about the way his clients thought and what fueled their behaviors. This unique insight makes him a particularly skilled writer of health and psychological content.
A typical day of writing for Eric consists of starting by finishing working on multiple writing assignments and then moving on to his own personal writing, including multiple novels and a review blog. Staying active in what he calls "fun" writing helps keep his skills sharp by challenging him to approach writing in a unique way and keeping him actively writing every day.
All of this ties in to Eric's basic writing philosophy: writing is an art form and one that must be perfect through daily practice. Mastering a daily writing practice gives him the ability to quickly and accurately produce multiple types of content. Before he writes a single word, he researches multiple aspects of a topic to ensure that it is properly
Carl Rogers believed that; ‘clients become empowered to find their own solutions and their own unique, personally meaningful path through life.’
The three ways that one’s Christian faith motivates him or her towards excellence in writing would be faith, honesty, and loving others. Humanity since the start has communicated through various types of writing. Writing has advanced from the stone age period of drawing into something that progressions a man's thought. History has shown that writing is essential in reaching the intended audience. For example, Biggs stated that, “when an officer develops a reputation as a good report writer, others look to her or him as a mentor. The struggling officers tend to emulate the writing style of the “good writer” and begin to use the same phraseology and word choice,” (Biggs, 2016). In light of the content and presentation of writing one may form
While reading “The Writer’s Way”, I began to realize several aspects associated with the context of the material and my own experiences in the academic world (Rawlins and Metzger). The first connection I discovered came when I read section “two Learning Equals Changing” (Rawlins and Metzger 3). I am no stranger to “experiencing and reflecting” in any part of my life (Rawlins and Metzger 3). When I take part in conversations, I analyze the content for long periods of time. Contemplating what happened, the conversation, what I could have done differently and many other questions occur in the process. In an academic setting, sometimes I process the information the same, however, I am not consistent with such a pattern. Academically I have found
In Stephen King's excerpt "On Writing" we get an in depth analysis from his point of view, on what a writer's toolbox is composed of. Every person's toolbox differs depending on what they see to help them excel in their own writing, through their own experiences and preferences. "Good writing is about making good choices when it comes to picking the tools you plan to work with." (Page 128). King's top priorities that are vital to produce a good story include vocabulary, grammar, and elements of style.
In chapter 3 of Everyone’s an Author, the main purpose is to discuss the writing process and its components. The chapter emphasizes the idea that practice makes perfect and it may take time and patience to find the writing process that works well for you. In order to find a writing process that leads to you working the most efficiently, one must approach their writing and take note of the habits they make, and analyze whether or not they work well.
First, Ericsson uses inventive syntax to help establish her purpose and to make it stand out. She first uses anaphora, the repetition of words at the beginning of sentences, to make her arguments more notable and impactful. As an example,
Jonah Jacob Goldberg, currently 47 years of age, was born on March 21st, 1969. Goldberg was born in Manhattan, New York. He is mostly known for being a senior editor, author, and columnist. Goldberg attended Goucher College in 1991 and received an “Alma Mater” (Article Bio). While he spent his years at Goucher, Goldberg was a part of the school newspaper, acting as the co-editor of the program. Everyone knows what writing is to one extent or another, but we all have different definitions of how it should be done and varying degrees of seriousness about the art. We all have a process of writing, but each is unique to ourselves and our own experiences. Annie Dillard and Stephen King are two well known authors who have published many pieces, two of which describe how they view the writing process and let their readers get a peek of what goes on through their minds when they write. These two pieces are Dillard’s The Writing Life and King’s “What Writing Is.”

I have recently had the pleasure of sitting down with Kathie Corwine to discuss her life details. Even though she is my mother and it is her job to use examples from her life to guide me and make mine better I still learned many things I hadn't yet learned about her. I'm going to spare you all of the boring details and get right into it.
He is writing more and more during each unit. He shows an understanding about the genre of writing. Andrew utilizes feedback to improve his writing. This was evident when Andrew first sat down to draft his personal narrative. He didn’t let the pencil leave the paper until he proved how influential his uncle is in his life. Most recently literary essay draft Andrew combined his ability to follow structure, elaborate, and prove an idea based from textual evidence. In order to take Andrew’s work to the next level, Andrew can use a more complex text and provide more insight supporting his evidence. One way Andrew can do this by using a chapter book or literature written by Patricia Polacco. These text discuss life experience that could be an access point to developing the complexity of ideas. Furthermore, he can provide more insight by thinking about why the provided example and evidence are
With articles for Mass Appeal, Uproxx, and Gawker under his belt, he’s definitely earned his keep in the writing game. Ricketts could spend weeks, or even months working on an article that he believes offers depth and interesting value. Over the past summer, one of Andrew’s posts on BET.com garnered a lot of positive and negative attention from the public. Entitled “Can We Admit That Rihanna’s ‘ANTI’ Is Better Than Beyonce’s ‘Lemonade’”, the article discussed how it was a popular opinion that Rihanna’s 2016 album was better, but that the conversation couldn’t be had due to Beyonce’s fanbase being overly aggressive. Later, so much backlash was had against the article that it is no longer on BET’s website. However, Ricketts doesn’t seem to have any regrets. He doesn’t mind being controversial, and he’s also a believer in all publicity is good
Jeffory is quite the writer, he can cover all aspects of writing with no problem. Jeffory loves to be in a peaceful quiet environment with little to no talking. Jeffory also likes to listen to music when he writes, he states “the music sometimes brings thought to my head, and inspires me to write”. Jeffory likes to write on his own time, if he is forced to write his work will not be as superb as which it could be.
Hassan is a joyful person to work with. Well, he is competent and consistently depicting his understanding in of subject knowledge in the assessments. Hasson's attitude toward our school rules, the other students, and myself is reflected in this reporting quarter. He is capable of being a successful student with effort. I am impressed with his effort to complete the task when when he missed the classes for his Golf Tournament. Moreover, his excellency in reciprocal teaching to other classmate is praiseworthy. In contrast, he needs to learn to set the limit on his social activity involved in the class to promote the learning environment in the class.
Among the many books that I have read relating to history, when looking for examples when writing I wish to avoid the style used by Gar Alperovitz. Alperovitz is best known for his books Atomic Diplomacy: Hiroshima and Potsdam and The Decision to Use the Atomic Bomb and the Architecture of an American Myth. In both books, Alperovitz offers a history on why the dropping of the atomic bombs on Japan was not necessary and only helped to initiate the Cold War with the Soviet Union. I would like to avoid Alperovitz’s writing style as I feel that his works lack clarity and personal thought. When addressing clarity Alperovitz presents an idea or opinion in writings, but never follows through with the thought. The lack of clarity leads to the author
