To begin with, Egypt was a civilization and that's a fact. Egypt had everything they needed to be a civilization including the 7 indicator of civilization. There are many things to learn about Egyptian government like the roles in government, how it works, and who runs it. There are not many roles in the government but here are the few that I found. The first role was the pharaohs role. Many pharaohs were men but some of them were women. The pharaoh is a king who runs the whole government and religion. Pharaohs thought of themselves as gods but as time passed by they thought of themselves as representing the gods. The second role in Egyptian government is a vizier. There was a higher class, a middle class, and a lower class. In Egypt the higher class was made up of the pharaoh and the gods. Since the Pharaoh was told to be a god, he put himself in the same spot as the other gods. The pharaoh and the gods were put in the highest class because they were the ones being adored and were most rich. The middle class was build up of the pharaohs workers like the scribe, the vizier, the priest and nobles, and officials. They were put in the middle because they still work in the palace and they have special skill so the people are sometimes to adore them as well. The last class that there was is lower class. Hieroglyphics are pictures to show writing. There were more than 700 hieroglyphics in Egypt. Hieroglyphs were written on papyrus reed, which is a marsh plant with tall straight arched stems.The reeds were smoothed, dried, and then stuck together to make paper. Egyptians wrote with a pen and ink on papyrus. Egypt didn’t have actual pens , they wrote with thin, sharp reeds, which they would dip in ink to write. Egyptians used writing in lots of places like in scribe schools, on tomb walls, in fields, in temples, at war and in the government to write laws.
