The acquisition of knowledge is either specifically aimed at imparting a certain person or a general audience. According to (Pritchard, 2010), knowledge refers to information concerning something, which an individual acquires either through experience or undergoing a certain form of process meant to impart information. We have to identify the presence of the propositional knowledge which lay emphasis on things like the facts and figures that we know for example, I can speak English and water is made up to the chemical structure H2O. And the ability knowledge which is just the know-how, an example of this is I know how to drive a motor bike, but I still need to know the rules and laws of driving (Pritchard, 2010).
Education is the first thing that comes to my mind when I think about knowledge. The role of education is to help us improve our knowledge and skills. I believe that we can pick up knowledge from parents, mentors, school teachers and life experiences, for example, being a mother teaches one to be more thoughtful and empathetic towards others. Knowledge is also imparted to us through various means like, studying the theories of human behaviours I have gained a better understanding of not just my behaviour but also the behaviour of others. Based on the teachings I have received in school so far, I now know more about anti-oppressive practices, equality and the protected characteristics of individuals. I also have a better understanding of social
There is something powerful about knowledge. Knowledge makes one know things that they did not know before. It helps them gain insight about issues that are seen in the world. It opens up eyes to see things through a different perspective, a perspective that they never thought of or seen without getting a gaining an understanding of that certain type of knowledge. Knowledge helps one make decisions and how to handle certain situations. Knowledge allows one to succeed in school and get acceptable grades, discern what is right and wrong, and leads to wisdom. When knowledge is limited; children and society are being naïve and lazy, people are not able to express the freedom of speech that is possible in this nation, and it ruins countries.
Knowledge and degree, knowledge is not the thing that you can get it from the school or college. Knowledge is the life that we lived, and life taught us a lot of lessons. How we should react in the class, in the court, in the house, and in the street. Degree is the thing that we should have it after when we done from college. It is the thing that make us work in a better situation as an Accountant work in a bank he or she ware good clothes and in a clean place. The knowledge that we learned from the life is the only reason could make us get our degree.
Everything learnt is needed to take seriously, and valued with all respect. If people did not have education, they might be unfortunate and yearning for it even more. Education is more than just learning, homework, and studying. It helps humans learn what has happened in the past, present, and what could possibly happen in the future.
Knowledge is not something easy to gain but if you do it shouldn't be traeted as life itself. You might think of something you will not later regret. For example Albert Einstein a German scientist who was kicked put of Germany because he didn't follow Hitlers idea values, and brought to the U.S.The U.S gave him the pridviledge to gain
The main argument here is that the knowledge represents for me the basis of my values, from which I learned most things, which in return guided me to the other good values like the honesty, responsibility and accountability. I highly believe that the knowledge is the major source of all other good
What is knowledge? Everyone has acquired some type of knowledge in their lifetime, either if it’s helpful or destructive. People utilize their knowledge for many varieties of things, such as acquiring excellent grades, working at their job or even outwit people they shouldn’t have. Many people misuse the acquirement of knowledge, by generating things they shouldn’t have manufactured. Knowledge can be beneficial as in assisting you reach your goals in life, but also can take you to dark places you don’t want to think about.
I belief that saying that a person can be taught to have knowledge is the same as saying a person who already beliefs in a topic or subject has a opinion. Which we know that opinion can be taught, but so can knowledge because you are teaching an opinion that soon will become a piece of information in a person's mind and that is what the definition is for knowledge. In other words, by learning an Opinion then they also will be receiving knowledge. Again like Socrates explains what Daedalus had told him about how we all will always have knowledge but our true opinion can be lost and maybe never be thought again. For a true opinion to stay in our minds we need to practice and think about the idea or a fact and turn it into an argument.
Knowledge. A powerful weapon overlooked by many people. I hope one day, as a society, we can come together and use education to change the world. We could end poverty, inequality, disease, and bring a new era of peace to a planet that has been fighting itself for too long. As a student and officer of both Biology Club and Tri-Beta, I hold personal responsibility to expand my own knowledge on a daily basis and try my best to reach out to the scientific community as well.
Education is the very foundation in which we as individuals grow, and formulate the knowledge we gain through life into meaningful ways of adapting to the world.
Knowledge, in itself, is nothing. It can even be a burden we are gathering tirelessly and than we carry it through a lifetime, climbing obstacles, overcoming challenges, our knowledge barely helping, and sometimes pulling us back instead.
Education is the gradual process of meaning making and acquiring “knowledge.” One views the world through his or her own set of lenses or filters, from his or her own perspective, and the mind of the learner attempts to connect new information to existing schema to make new connections. These constructions and connections in the brain become "knowledge." Therefore, knowledge when people begin to understand facts or information through experience and/or learning. We begin to realize, through knowledge, details that we learn in isolation are actually interconnected. Education can be intentional or unintentional and can occur everywhere and at any time. Education is greatly influenced by affective factors and social context. It has both internal and external value, both to a person and to all of society.
Education is needed for individuals to function in society. Without the proper tools, people would be a burden instead of an asset. To become an asset, individuals need to be exposed to those elements which would enrich their lives through knowledge. Knowledge in our society is basically learned through education. The basic knowledge each person should receive from an education is the three R’s; reading writing, and arithmetic. These mediums will enable a person to survive in today’s society.
In my opinion , Education means a lot to me because it teach me a lot of information in life . Every knowledge I learn from it , I can use it in
I believe the essence of education includes growth. The purpose of education is not to just fill our head with lots of information, but to discover your uniqueness and to teach us how to develop it, and to show us how to, in return, give it away. Once you learn something in life, you should be able to absorb it in a way to use it in your life and then in turn pass it on to someone else in order to contribute to their growth as well. I also believe that the essence of education includes knowledge and skills. Once you are educated on a matter you obtain knowledge and/or skill. Education is understood as the artificial extension of human ability to learn, as the product of learner’s own efforts (Sidorkin, 2011).
America, land of the free and where every vote matters, but does it? The popular vote in america hasn't always mattered and may never matter when the electoral college holds the final poll for presidency. bush was one president who didn't have the popular vote at all, yet he still became president. Does the popular vote matter and should we fix this issue? In reality americans votes don't matter because the electoral college has final say in the presidential election.
