Dress code is one of the biggest issues in the world. Some of the people think, dress code is very unnecessary rule. However, the other ones think, dress code is, so important rule. This essay will explain for and against opinion for dress code. First of all, proponents who think the dress code is good idea say that, people do not waste time to chose clothes everyday. If people have a dress code in their life, they do not waste time for choosing clothes. On the other hand, opponents who think the dress code is not good idea say that, people should feel comfortable when they do their works but dress codes can avert it. Therefor, opponents think people should be free in their jobs or schools because if they do not feel comfortable, their motivation
Dress code is administration telling us what we can and cannot wear. Some people believe we should wear uniform, because there's less judgment on what people wear and it's easier to choose what you're wearing in the morning before school. Some people also believe there should be no dress code so students can express their selves and be in the comfort of what they chose to wear. In 2016 at Cy-Fair high school we have a very strict dress code. Cy-Fairs dress code is very bias. I think we should have a dress code but students should not be able to wear super revealing clothing. Student should be able to wear what they want to express themselves and shouldn't be told what they can and cannot wear just because it "distracts" others.
Many occupations have dress codes for employees write to convince business leaders that dress codes should or should not be required. I firmly believe that a dress code should not be enforced. Dressing shows your own creativity. If everyone was the same the world would be a boring place. Dress Codes do have a reason and do serve a good
Dress code is put into place to keep students from being bullied for how they dress and how some people may treat them different depending on what they wear. There is a lot of evidence that show students losing time in the class room because they are too worried about there personal apparel. David Brunsma, a sociologist who wrote Uniforms in Public Schools: A Decade of Research and Debate in 2005, says,
The anonymous author of Rules of Fashion says that the dress code is one thing that has served to lower crime, violence, and increase attendance and increase learning at a lot of schools. And a dress code itself and important statement because we want our young children, whether rich, poor, or middle class, when they're in school to define themselves primarily in terms of what's going on inside, not what they're wearing not he outside (Anonymous 2).
The clothing that some students are wearing is very distracting and affecting the learning of other students. Which is why in some dress codes, schools prohibit students from wearing shorts and dresses if not for a certain length requirement. When students are wearing inappropriate clothing it can get some students unfocused on the lesson. Others who disagree might say “Dress codes aren't fair to the students especially those that use their clothing as a way to express
Is it better to have students expressing themselves through clothing, or instituting a dress code, hoping they will focus on studies? Many studies have had evidence for both ideas. School dress codes have been controversial ever since teenagers have been interested in fashion. Some people agree with the strict dress codes, and others disagree.
Dress codes have created hot debates around the world. In my opinion, dress codes should be enforced but they should not unfairly target females and they should allow students to express themselves without violating extreme dress code
When it comes to dress code, every individual has a different viewpoint for its implementation. There are clothes that could be fashionable to one person but seen as offensive to another. A dress code can be justifiable when put into a situation that really does require certain attire to be worn. It gives a sense of formality and distinguishes an individual apart from a group. This report seeks to compare and contrast the characteristics of school dress codes with that of dress codes in the workplace.
Dress code is a big controversy within almost all school districts around the world. There are many different opinions on the topic and how it should be handled, but it is mainly the students who suffer because of these strict, unruly, form of schooling. Girls are mainly the ones who are targeted against being blamed for causing a distraction or being inappropriate. Girls should be able to dress how they wish and not be shamed for it at school. They should not be discriminated against due to their personal clothing choices.
Today I will support in my opinion if dress codes should be applied in schools. Dress codes have been around for a long time to protect people from public exposure and this paper will resolve if dress codes should continue to be in schools. Hope you enjoy.
Why are schools and work places always so strict about what you can and can’t wear? Depending on where you live and what district you’re in the dress code can vary. If you live in a better school district or private school, you might have a uniform or only be permitted a few things. If you live in a district that doesn’t enforce them as much you might be able to get away with a couple of things. Most people try to break them so they can fit in. Most schools don’t understand that. I think that dress codes should be less strict because they stop freedom of expression, they are bias and they can start bulling; ways that we can stop all of that is if the school understands the current fashion, but if we were to buy uniforms it could potentially
The first reason, is that dress codes should be taken seriously because dress codes makes everybody think twice about themselves or others before judging. One example, is “clothes are used to send sexual messages… attractive…(Methabane).” The meaning of this example is that applying dress code information to students can make them effective the way they think about themselves and others. This evidence is important because students and people will think twice about them or others and could make everybody and formal and casual environment so they won’t attract
A famous poet once wrote, “The freedom to dress how we want is the freedom to express ourselves.” Many girls have been trying to start an expostulation against the dress code here at school and failed. Well, today I want to ameliorate this problem and explain our reasonings but not in an importune way. The dress code is irrefutably the cause of countless problems. Having a dress code is ok ,but to a certain point. Girls seem to be more affected by the dress code than guys. Girls should be allowed more freedom in the way they dress. We shouldn’t be shunned for wanting to look nice but having our shoulders affect the way a boy works.
Most middle schools, and high schools are required to have a dress code. Therefore, it is important to be followed. In addition, when not wearing the proper clothing, it causes distractions and sometimes it’s harmful. In some schools a dress code is required. This is because it stops people from
