Dreaming is a very important thing in life.becoming more confident, already having a set goal and not just dreaming about it but making an effort on accomplishing your goals will change your life.Dreaming is one of the best ways to accomplish your goals. When you dream big, you will always have a high standard for yourself in life. If you have a high standard, you will accomplish a great amount of goals; in addition, when you need to accomplish something small, it will not be very hard for you to accomplish. If you dream big, you will always want to go that extra mile in life. Even though if you dream big, you will face some big obstacles ,and you will learn to overcome the big and small obstacles in life. A very big example of dreaming big
Dreams are important because they are what drive us to achieve our goal. Suffering is hard and sometimes unbearable but we can pass through it. In life dreams may give people hope or a course life. It would seem that the ideal goal but then reality sets in and the problems start. Dreams are only a phantoms of our imagination.
“Be who makes the impossible possible,” my grandmother loves to say. In life dreaming big is the idealistic state of mind. Dreaming big is what gives one hope to becoming who they aspire to be and reach their goals.
Dreams lead to false hopes and are deceiving! That’s at least what some say. But throughout the dream unit we have seen and have read about achieving our dreams and not going the distance. It is worth it to dream because dreams give us hope and purpose, working hard at our dreams can have a great outcome, and Dreams can lead to more than we can imagine.
“I never dreamed about success, I worked for it.” Estee Lauder. This quote really sums up the reason we shouldn’t dream because dreams make us believe in things that won’t ever happen unless a person actually goes out tries to accomplish what they want to do in life. In addition sometimes when people try to accomplish their dreams it leads to terrible outcomes such as the Great Leap Forward, The 5 Year Plans, and the Holocaust as some examples. Also, it results in many people overestimate what they can do which leads to terrible outcomes. This all shows often when people try to dream it often leads to outcomes that very undesirable.
You see things; and you say, "Why?" But I dream things that never were; and I say, "Why not?" I believe it is worth it to dream for multiple reasons. A few reasons include they make people work harder, they keep people out of trouble, and they set lifelong goals.
Dreaming big eliminates any limitations a person can put on themselves. It gives you the opportunity to determine what you can truly do and what lengths you can reach. The novel Frankenstein supports this idea because Victor Frankenstein’s goal was to do the impossible. He planned to create a living human being by reassembling a dead body. Anyone would agree that this was a foolish idea, but Victor made it possible to prove those people wrong. Victor
Analysis: Dreamings can teach us that in living the good life, it is important that we learn from the past. It also shows us the importance of art and how it can teach us about life's journeys (Ann Bzoch).
Dreams are incredible when you learn what they are mean and why we dream at all. They come in many categories and our for granted by many, but as known are for our benefit and should not be taken as anything
People should dream big because they can make the world a better place. For example, Steve Jobs would get laughed at when he would talk about his idea so as a consequence, he would pitch in his idea nut companies would end up laughing so in effect, he decided to accomplish his dream anyways. As a result he was the most successful person.
“It’s time to restore balance in our schools so that teaching and learning, not testing, are at the center of our education,” pg. 164 (Robinson, 2015, P.164). As a teacher it is important to know that standardized tests are meaningless. Teachers should not focus on practicing for the required tests because it will only make the students less motivated to learn. I hated taking standardized test because it was so stressful. I felt like I was never smart enough or good enough, so why should I even try? This is not the kind of mindset I want my student to have. I plan to not worry about my students’ test scores and be more like the mindset Singapore has. For example, they do less standardized testing and they rank high in PISA league. I believe that when teachers motivate their students that’s when we see the best results of student achievement. One way for
Look at people who died following their dreams, Martin Luther King j.r, president JFK, Michael Jackson. All those people died doing what they dreamed of doing. Was it worth it? Is a silly dream worth a person's own LIFE? In my opinion it is not worth it to dream if dreams are dangerous. Look at college sports for an example, some players are good enough to make it to the pros, but boom then they get a career ending injury and are left in the dust. So in conclusion it is not worth it to dream because it leads to false hopes, it is a waste precious time and some dreams can be
Dreaming big is for those of us that urge to pursue great ideas in regards to outcomes that not only affect ourselves but others as well.
Dreams have been around as long as the first civilization came to be and have been a normal part of human existence. One third of your life is spent sleeping, and of that third, on average you will have spent a total of about six years of it dreaming. Most people dream on average two hours every night, but you can have anywhere from four to seven dreams in one night. According to research, the most common setting for a dream is in your own house. In our dreams we can do anything we want and be whoever we want to be. Our dreams are an escape from reality. While we dream we are unable to control our actions and choose our surroundings. We let our minds take over. Sometimes dreams can be understood in the context of repressed thoughts. Dreaming serves as an outlet for those thoughts and impulses we repress during the day. When we go to sleep at night and slip into our dream state, we feel liberated and behave in a manner that we do not allow ourselves to in our everyday life. Visions and ides can come from your dreams. Often, authors, screenwriters, and even poets turn to their dreams for inspiration. The think quest oracle library goes on to tell about the most well-known of the modern dream
Dreaming big inspires hope in us. It gives a way that we can be, no matter how unattainable it may seem, and gives a light at the end of the tunnel for us to follow. It gives safe haven from the troubles in our own lives. It gives us something to work towards, saying “I can be that!”, and a reason to trudge on through the endless cycle of deadlines, bureaucracy, paperwork, and ‘round-the-clock demands of a modern society. Dreaming big is how we cope with the stress, the constant uphill struggle, the insurmountable endeavour we face every day. Big dreams are not silly. They are not unachievable. They are a reason to live, to overcome adversity, to stay the course and make a change, in our lives or someone else’s.
Dreams have been around since the beginning of time. There is often controversy over whether or not dreams are important or meaningless. Although many people believe that dreams are pointless and have no meanings to them, research and experimentation show that there can be many different interpretations of dreams.
