I would like to state that this country, at this time, does not need Donald Trump as its President. The United States of America does not need Donald Trump to cause catastrophe to both itself and the world. Mr. Trump always argues that the outside world is bringing harm to the U.S. and that America should no longer be involved with foreign countries, like Mexico. But what he does not understand is that, by cutting these connections, he is dooming America, both economically and socially. My full argument about this that I and my two classmates wrote in class is: Trump’s misleading, falsely based data, leading to America’s economic failure. This you might disagree with; however, we should not hold hands with someone that will lead us, no ensure
Donald Trump is focused primarily on helping Americans; he wants to ensure that Americans have jobs, wages, and security. In order to do so, Trump developed a “10 Point Plan to Put America First.” Trump wants to cease the mass immigration of Mexicans to America in search for work opportunities. If elected president, Trump wants to build a wall on the southern border of the United States, which will keep Mexicans out. Trump wants to make certain that any illegal immigrant is imprisoned and deported immediately. Trump does not tolerate any illegal immigrants in the United States and wants to make sure Americans are “put first.”
In the article, the author discussed about what Trumponomics truly meant not only for our nation, but also for Mexico. It is going to affect the regions around the border drastic and instantly once it is applied. Mexico is America’s second largest export market; America is Mexico’s largest. According to the article, the two countries build things together, and even pool their comparative advantages to create what’s called the “ultra-competitive” regional economy. If Trump actually places “the Great Wall of America” there with a 35% tariff on Mexican goods and actually scraps the NAFTA, not only would it quickly knock 5% off Mexican GDP, but it would also destroy a lot of the American Companies. It is going to strike both countries’ economy
Donald Trump’s 2016 presidential campaign has come at a time after having a president serve for two terms. Americans are eager for change. Donald Trump promises to be the change to fix the nation’s concerns about foreign affairs, and immigration
Presidential elections are an important aspect of U.S. history. This year is probably one of the more interesting ones since Donald Trump, an entertainer, is running for president even though he has no experience with politics. His campaign is widely criticized but he still holds a major lead from 30-40% depending on the state. Donald Trump should not be the President of United States at all, his views are bigoted, sexist and racist. Our president should not feel that he is superior to others and constantly degrade others for their race, religion, gender, etc. Not only are his views disgraceful but he has no past experience with politics,
The election is over and now more than ever unity as a nation is important. Donald Trump is the 45th president of the United States. The statement leaves a sour taste on our tongue. We stated that we don’t agree with Trump’s policy and behavior; the paper will not go back on it’s word but we recognize that it is the duty of every citizen of this great nation to give the president elect a chance to govern. Then, the people must use the powers of a democratic system to make the government have the constituents interests in mind.
Donald J. Trump outlines his plans to make USA great again through better leadership and action. Too much empty talk, not enough action. We the People are tired of these politicians who talk their way into office and then fail to live up to what they promised. Trump will restore America to its former greatness, a greatness we have not seen since the Reagan years. This book is also a call for the return of genuine patriotism and taking pride in our country. We the People know that USA is the greatest country in the world and we need to put someone in the Oval Office who will actually Lead and put that greatness on display by taking Action.
Another thing that Trump has done to affect us that live in the valley or in Texas, Donald Trump said that he would renegotiate or break the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA). "We will either renegotiate it or we will break it," Trump said during an interview on 60 Minutes, following a question about how to keep American jobs from moving to Mexico. "Because, you know, every agreement has an end." NAFTA, which has been in effect since the mid-1990s, allows free trade between the United States, Canada and Mexico." “We need fair trade. Not free trade,” he said. "It’s got to be fair." Trump is not the only GOP candidate to suggest that the U.S. can and should break its international agreements in some circumstances. Texas Sen. Ted Cruz, former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee and former Hewlett-Packard CEO Carly Fiorina all have said they would renege on the Iran nuclear deal the Obama Administration struck earlier this year. This has a major effect on us because if the NAFTA brakes the agreement that has been since the 1990’s it would stop everyone that comes to here for a better job and just stay in Mexico with that the population would decrease and much more will happen.
Donald Trump’s wall has the potential to cause slow economic growth, and the accompanying unemployment, known as economic stagflation. Trump, if elected, plans to decrease, if not stop all, imports by enforcing high tariffs. As the world aims to spend as little money for quality things, they will stay clear of the United States because of this tariff. In addition to the imports tariff, Trump plans to end foreign investments. He believes that investing into other countries, and other countries investing in the US, is not needed. Furthermore, this wall is basically penalizing companies for operating outside of the US, in turn discouraging international business. These all leads to de-globalization. With the decline of trade with these new tariffs, foreign countries
Current president, Donald Trump’s campaign slogan was “Make America Great Again”, a promise for the ideal Utopia. Now while he has managed to help America some, his rash decision making along with his blinders turned towards Utopia are actually harming America more so than helping it. Just in recent months there has be a spike in school related violence as well as there is still hurricane damage in
"When Mexico sending its people, they are not sending their best...They are bringing drugs, they are bringing crime, they are rapist. And some, I assume are good people". This saying by our president is just outrageous that is why I'm kind of glad that he doesn't have full total control over ever last thing because as a president he need to be willing and ok with every single state, and country because he is representing the entire country of The United States so when other countries see us they see our president and would believe we all just like him. And that’s definitely not the case because each person in America is very different and do not act like that man. This will probably mess up the country way more than one because what if the country goes through depression or some even worse like another World War and no other country would want to help us in that time of need because on what the president may have said. Definitely Mexico will not want to help and there one of our greatest allies because our agreement in the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA).
While a constant flow of people coming to America seems like a great idea to most, President-elect Trump thinks the U.S need to limit the people it let in. During his campaign he said he would repeal DACA and kick out all illegal immigrants. His thought process behind this is that it will free up jobs for Americans. Trump is right that it will free up jobs as roughly “8 million illegal immigrants currently have jobs”, but the issue is that Americans won’t have the proper training to take all of these jobs (Krogstad). This will lead to companies not producing what they should and being forced to lay off people. So overall by kicking out all immigrants Trump will be costing many Americans jobs and could lead to another depression. Another thing that Trump has said he will do is build a wall around the U.S and Mexico. This wall will cost millions, maybe even billions of dollars, yet Trump has not elaborated on how it will be paid for. He has said he will get Mexico to pay for it and that he has a plan to do it, but nobody knows what that is. This
The isolation of America in relation to other nations will handicap the citizens of our country; however, President Donald Trump suggests this isolation would “make America great again”. Trump first supports this idea by informing the American people what has taken place in this country due to our interventions in other nations. He notes that “for many decades, we’ve enriched foreign industry at the expense of American industry; subsidized the armies of other countries while allowing for the very sad depletion of our military ; we’ve defended other nation’s borders while refusing to defend our own; and spent trillions of dollars overseas while America’s infrastructure has fallen into disrepair and decay”. He continues,“we’ve made other countries
Furthermore, Trump’s method of blaming other countries or people for problems within the United States is harmful because it fans the flames of racism. Even in his presidential campaign announcement, he pinpoints Latin and South Americans as rapists and drug dealers and

One major problem America is facing is illegal immigration and Donald Trump is going to fix that. A big part of how Trump is going to fix this issue, is by building a wall to prevent illegals from entering the U.S.. Donald Trump said that his proposed wall across the U.S. - Mexico border would be completed within two years (Trump vows Mexico border wall will be built within two years). One reason why we have this problem is because our laws are not strict enough. For many years, Mexico’s leaders have been taking advantage of the United States by using illegal immigration to export the crime and poverty in their own country. They have even published pamphlets on how to illegally immigrate to the United States (Immigration Reform That Will Make America Great Again). In an interview with Fox News, Trump said he will have a 3-pronged attack focusing on securing America’s borders, increasing enforcement of immigration laws, and putting the needs of U.S. citizens first (Trump shares ideas for ‘real immigration reform’).
