Dog To Work

Employees bringing their pet dog to work is a very controversial topic. An abundance of people support this idea, because they feel they would be more productive, happier, more relaxed, and less stressed. However, many people feel like bringing dogs into the workplaces only causes problem such as, allergies, behavioral episodes, and any fearful mindsets the employees may have. I feel like dogs, while they bring many great qualities to anywhere they go, should not be allowed into a work area unless need-be.

I, along with the author of, "Against Bringing Dogs to Work," believe that dogs should not be allowed in the workplace because they can be a distraction or harm other employees or property.

I believe letting your employees bring their dogs to work is a great way to boost their motivation and work ethic.

For example, the person that supports it says that pet owners that have alot of stress and anxiety can feel less of that, when their dog is with them.One wouldn't mind working later hours if they had their dog with them. This person believes that the workplace will increase with satisfaction and productivity having their dog with them. When emloyees are happy there are higher job satisfaction.

Next, you need to think about your co-workers and your enviroment. in the work place the dog may become a distraction and lead to less working and more play. in the, "in support of bringing dogs to work" paragraph he states. researchers have found that when pet owners interact with their dogs, they experience a sense of well-being and feel less stress and anxiety."

Although, there are some dog-owning employees who may benefit from bringing their pet to work; there are some that would not. Not everyone is able to be around animals. Allergies take a enormous toll on many people. I know that being around any animal that sheds fur can make allergies flare. Which in toll, will make employees miserable at the workplace.

After reading the two responses from the employees about the "Bring Your Dog to Work" program, I belive that bringing your dog to your workplace should not be acceptable. There are many issues regaurding this idea such as; employees may be allergic to dogs, not knowing how your dog will behave around others, and the amount of attention they will need. These issues can prevent future problems.

It would be an admirable concept to incorporate therapy dogs in to the office. Staff has previously mentioned their interest in this topic multiple times, and now we can meet their requests. Therapy dogs are known to make employees not only happier, but healthier. Dogs are known for reducing stress and anxiety in humans; while also temporarily lowing their blood pressure. Some other interesting health benefits are a quicker recovery from heart disease and improvement on people’s psychological well-being and self-esteem.

Why is a harmless plant like marijuana illegal? Marijuana cost the taxpayers of the United States an estimated forty one billion dollars every year, including a loss in potential tax revenue (16 Facts about Marijuana and the U.S. Economy). It helps people with illnesses ranging from Alzheimer's to cancer. States that have legalized have had a result of twenty five percent less deaths from pharmaceuticals since legalization (Lincoff). With notable results in states like Colorado the United States needs to legalize marijuana nationally to boost the economy and give millions access to jobs and increase tax revenue.

My opinion on the bring your dog to work program is, it really depends on the type of workplace you are bringing them to, here are the reasons why i think that

They are people in support of Bringing Your Dogs to Work program because of help, to reduce stress and anxiety at work. Studies shows that most employees tend, to be more happy at work, and also to get work done faster when there dogs are beside them when there at work. Therefore, the employees will be more happier, and more relaxed, they will be so happy, to get to work and wouldn't mind to stay late at work. Also employees are will likely sta positive at work, they tend to stay at their positions, which can save their employers the cost of having to hire and train new workers. On the flip side there are some against Bringing Dogs to Work movement. Not everyone likes dogs, or is comfortable when there are around them. Furthermore, there are

Deciding whether or not I should agree with dogs being allowed in our work place was very tricky for me. I appreciate your desire to make sure every employee feels comfortable and stress-free at work. Also, I adore dogs and would love to able to have my furry-friend alongside me all day long. However, after looking at the pro's and con's, I'd have to say I do not agree with this idea.

Dogs at work it's a fun idea right? But is it a smart one, acording to some businesses it is not. In a whole I believe that it's a bad idea.

When a baby is first born the main concern of the parents is the development of the child; this is a crucial part of the infant’s life where the first few years of life are the most important. The rate of brain development depends on the environment around the baby including where they live and who they are growing up around. During the baby’s first year especially, the skills being developed are what will be needed and used throughout their entire life. Not all babies develop at the same rate, some newborns may develop quicker than what is considered, “normal,” and some infants can develop at a slower rate. This rate of development does result from the environment around the child but, also there are some differences between male and female babies that makes the rate of development vary. Brain development is the most crucial type of development in a human because without the brain being developed the body would not be able to function.
