A dog Park benefits all, the cities are most definitely in need of a dog park.
One of the reasons why a dog park is beneficial is because for all dogs they need their exercise is very important for the mental and physical health is needed for all dogs. According to the ASPCA dogs that don't get any exercise can act out by barking and destroying things at home. Along with socializing is important too. If a dog doesn't learn too get along with other dogs, it may attack another dog along with a human being.
Another reason allowing dogs off the leash so they can be free run around at the dog park it can be beneficial yet it can as well be harmful too others dog and people. The reason why is because in New York City it stated that allowing dogs off the leash was reports about dog-bites went from 40,000 to fewer than 4,000 per year.
Third reason bad behavior caused by dogs being lonely and poorly exercised is partly 2 million pet dogs end up into animal shelters every year. About 65 percent owners who left their dogs at shelters blamed it on dogs bad behavior. Which a dog park will address these issue. It would also prevent

There will be traffic congestion increasing near the park, noise from barking dogs and their yelling owners will disturb nearby residents. This would cause both stress and lack of sleep. Those that disagree would see it as tax payers should not have to fund this expensive project, which is costing 70,000! Most people aren't dog lovers some might have cats. Some would feel as if a dog park is being built what about a place for their cat too have or any type of pet. Which is why a pet owner responsibility and no one else's. If dog owners want a park, they should build their own far away, on private land and pay for it
I think dog parks are a good idea. Dogs need alot of exercise and play time. Many cites and urban areas just dont have the room for that to happen. But there are optoins there many open unused lots, and empty building that could be torn down to create these places. I am a dog owner myself i live in the country were open space is abundant. My dog Neno can run a play all he wants it's good for his health and mental state. When he doesn't get out he gets cranky and chews thing around the house. I grew up in a city of five millon, so i know how hepful a dog park can be to dog owners. You should always have your dog around other people, and animals,
Before you jump to the hasty conclusion that I’m opposed to a dog park because I do not have a dog, let me assure you I do have a dog and am aware of my responsibilities as an owner. The principal argument for a dog park is “exercise is important to dogs’ mental and physical health.” I would take this argument a step further and state exercise is also
I would certainly agree that a dog park is a beneficial addition to a community in which many residents own dogs. The particular benefits that such a public service offers should not, in my opinion, be dismissed.
Limiting a dog's physical activity can lead to many other problems such as dog-bite reports increasing, crowded dog shelters, and bad behaved dogs. Adding a dog park will only befenfit the growth of city in many aspects. Property values will increase and lawsuits should decrease, because dogs are proven to be more well behaved when active and social with one another.
While some people are seeing the negative effects of having dog parks, there is solutions to each of them. Before bringing dogs intio the park, be sure that they are trained to be obedient. They should know to come when called by their owner. They should be trained to not be aggressive towards another dog or person. A solution applying towards the costs of building dog parks could be creating fundraisers and donations from those who praise this topic.
During my morning jog at the park, I was a slightly down in the dumps and I knew exactly what would make me feel better, puppy therapy! And then I thought to myself, where's the city dog park when you need one? Personally, having a dog myself influences my decison to be an advocate of building dog parks within the cities. Doing this give more oppurtunity to the dog owners, it gains more property value, and it will help lower the rate of the dogs put into animal shelters. The only downfall to building a dog park is the money the community has to put into it.
Bad behavior in dogs it due to lonelyness and poor exercise. Every dog has the need to run, play, meet new dogs, and to get the experience to inter act with other people, caulseing less dog bite reports. New York started alolowing off leash in dog parks in effect dog bites wend down 40,000 a year to 4,000. A dog park would bring
A dog park can be very beneficial to a community. Many people own dogs and need a place for there dog to excerise and interact with other dogs, but they aren't the only ones benefiting since the property values could also rise.
If I was dog owner then I would not move into a neighborhood that my dog couldn't exercise or go to the bathroom. Having a dog park is a great thing because
Building a dog park is a lawsuit waiting to happen. dog owner's getting bittin and smaller children plus the other dog's getting attacked. From my past experience of kids getting attacked leads to the dog getting put down and court date put into play for a on going lawsuit, nobody wont to have there dog put down nor pay out a lot of money.
But, I can understand some people’s desire for a public dog park. They wouldn’t have to keep their dog on a leash at all times & could socialize with others. Nevertheless, it is not the cities fault or the taxpayers that you own a dog in a place where it has little free space. People should take into account their living environment (future or current) and determine if the atmosphere is right for a dog. Personally, I live in a neighborhood of countless dogs. There is the common disturbance of barking, but the dogs stay in their yards. The owners are responsible and keep their dogs well trained. This is not to say that residents in the city do not do this as well, but the difference is the space. And, my family does not own any pets for the sole reason of how much work they are. They need to be fed, played with, walked, and taken out constantly. But if we decided to own one, it would be better in our current residence and not the city.
The reasons why I think people need a dog park is because, most people that have dogs stay in apartments with about sixty-eight percent rental units in a house. As we can see from most of the dogs population just stays locked up in a cage or in a room which does'nt do anything but give the dogs bad behavior. That's why dogs stay so aggressive to their owners or to little kids because they don't be able to interact with other dogs or human beings. That's is where dogs aggressiveness come into play with things such as bites, maybe other things that might be worse then that can happen to other people or other things.
Dog parks are important for a dogs health, both mentally and physically, according to the article "A Dog Park Benefits All". Dog parks have been proven to be a good thing for dogs to go to exercise and learn how to get along with other people and other dogs.
A public dog park would allow people to let their dog exercise and learn how to interact around people and other dogs. In most cases, people wouldnt want to live around a dog park unless they own, or plan on owning a dog; which in turn can boost property value of the surrounding area.
After reading both passages carefully, I think if you have a dog park in a community city it will benefit people. People that have a dog cannot have a lot of fun with their pet dog, and there is no safe place they can go. If you take your dog to a regular park there is a greater chance of someone getting injured or your dog getting injured. On the passage it says that dog bites whent from 40,000 to fewer than 4,000 per year. If humans get to have their own park then animals should have there own park as well. A dog park can raise property value in their community. Exercise is important for dogs it helps them in health and having a longer life. Dont us humans need exercise in are lifes to be healthy, and to live longer. Why should it be diffrent
