Mr. BABIN. Mr. Speaker, I rise today to congratulate the Liberty Lady Panther Softball Team for winning the 2018 Texas University Interscholastic League (UIL) 4A High School Softball State Championship! This is the first championship for girl’s athletics at Liberty High School.

The Eagles defense did not put up much of a fight in the game; now they have lost their last two games, They allowed over 500 yards of total offense, almost three hundred of which came on the ground. The Bucs, have won two straight and have pulled to .500. for the first time since they beat New Orleans in week two.

The annual Ely Tiger game with the Dillard Panthers was last friday night. It ended in a shocking turn of events when Ely’s Donnell Wilson caught the winning touchdown pass. After analyzing several first hand accounts(documents) we can see what happened and whether or not the pass was extraordinary or just overhyped. Many people saw the event in a different manner. But based on the documents collected you could say that the catch was alright but not extraordinary.

The Durham Bulls are a minor league baseball team based in Durham, North Carolina. Originally called the ‘Durham Tobacconists’, the team was named for Durham’s profitable tobacco industry. The city’s economy thrived off of tobacco, specifically Bull Durham Tobacco. The team’s name is also linked with Durham’s nickname; Bull City.

The Ely Tiger verses Dillard Panthers game was Friday night and the Ely Tigers won the game 14-10 when Donnell Wilson caught an “amazing” touchdown pass. But what really happened at the game? According to the witnesses, the game was amazing, but there were some people why didn’t see it that way. With the gathered information, the victory was something that was made out to be great, but it wasn’t skill that help win the game, it was luck.

The Memphis Tigers scored their final touchdown to take a 34-14 lead with 14:51 left on the clock in the fourth quarter and the Houston Cougars started to mount their comeback with their back up quarterback in the game. Sophomore quarterback Kyle Postma came into the game late in the second quarter after senior QB Greg Ward went down with an apparent left ankle injury. Postma started the scoring as he drove down field after Ward exited the game and scored the teams first touchdown.

Shaun Anderson pumped his first as Dalton Guthrie fired to first for the 27th out on Tuesday night, sealing a 3-2 win for the No. 2 Florida Gators (24-3, 4-2 SEC) over instate rival Florida State (18-6, 6-1 ACC).

It has been 40 years since the Seattle Seahawks entered the NFL. The Seahawks were created in 1976. They have been though three stadiums and lots of bad seasons. There have been lots of good seasons too. In the past seven years, the Seahawks have made three Superbowl appearances. Sadly, they are 1-2 in the Superbowl. Today, the franchise is bigger than ever. They hold the record for being the loudest stadium. Also, they have one of the best home-winning records. This is the history of the Seattle Seahawks.

It takes hard work, grit, and dedication to be the best. That is exactly what the Philadelphia Eagles have done over the last 18 years and it is truly incredible. Over the last 18 years the eagles have won 8 NFC East conference along with a superbowl win in the previous 2017 season. The adversity of losing their starting quarterback Carson Wentz, who led the league in Touchdowns as well as QBR before his season getting cut short due to a torn ACL. The eagles were riding high through the first thirteen weeks of the season until this unforeseen tragedy occured. But to be the best you must have the next man up personality in order to achieve greatness, that is exactly what QB 2, Nick Foles did. He expected to see no playing time during the season due to Carson’s MVP campaign year. But the seasoned vet was brought in to backup Carson Wentz at the beginning of the season due to the fact that the Eagles front office knew Nick would be ready if called upon. It was week 13, the Eagles were down two touchdowns, but Carson stayed relentless. The ball was near Seattle's 15 yard line and Carson went with a head full of steam to the endzone only to be met by a Middle Linebacker twice his size. After being carted off the field Eagles fans far and wide were shook to the core, knowing something bad had to of happened.

The Carolina Panthers are a very good football team well I think that even though they just started not that long ago. The Carolina Panthers Are a professional Football team. Some people don´t know that the Panthers are a professional football team.

In Carolina’s two games this postseason, the Panthers have jumped out to huge leads. Leading 31-0 against the Seattle Seahawks in the Divisional Round and 24-7 against the Arizona Cardinals in the NFC Championship Game at halftime of both games, the Panthers have become accustomed to front-running. Carolina has been a front-running team all year, scoring early and often en route to a league-high 15 wins. If the Panthers can get out to a big early lead against the Broncos, Denver’s offense doesn’t seem equipped to make a big comeback. Carolina quarterback Cam Newton, who was named NFL MVP Saturday night, was the runaway front-runner to win the award after a stellar regular season.

This week, I decided to take a trip back in time and come up with my top five individual single-season best offensive performances in Cowboys history.

His dream had always been to make it to the NFL, so he worked hard everyday day in and day out to strive for his goal. He was just a young man with a dream to get far with his talent for others to see, not just his brothers and teammates. He lived by a famous quote that says, “It’s not the SIZE of the dog in the fight but the SIZE of fight in the dog.” Hall Of Famer Archie Griffin of the Cincinnati Bengals said this because football is a man’s sport. There were lots of legends created in the history of the game.

The brown pelicans eat middle sized fishes, so they capture the fish by diving up and then the brown pelican scoops up the fish or fishes into their pouch. They are the ONLY species of pelicans that hunts for food that plunge or dive in that dramatically. After catching the fish they go up and rise to the ground and empty out or drain the water from their pouch. It is often that the gulls steal the fish before they get a chance to swallow. The Pelicans beak can hold more than its belly. The pouch holds up to or about three gallons, meanwhile the stomach can only hold about one gallon.
