And with that comes an awe, a sense of the great privilege of being here, of bearing witness to a primordial world.” Compare tone of final paragraph to intro paragraph and use examples He seems nervous about this trip He says ,“We’ve all been up since midnight, starting our predive checks after a couple of restless hours of sleep, and the whole team is running on adrenaline. Chapter 8 is devoted to a description of the yellow-spotted lizards. The chapter explains that up to twenty can live in one hole, that they eat the shells of sunflower seeds, and that the yellow spots aren't as obvious as the red around their eyes, their black teeth, or their white tongue. In fact, if you can see the yellow spots at all, you're probably already dead.

They died so as not to die of embarrassment” (O’Brien 20).

As the story continues, the man faces obstacles while trying to make it through the climate. However, his overconfidence causes him to overlook the preparation needed for his journey. “The old-timer on Sulphur Creek was right, he thought in the moment of controlled despair that ensued:After 50 below, a man should travel with a partner.”
"There was some bad moments. But by the time I had finished the trip I was an experienced traveler." From this sentence, we can infer that it is difficult for some people to adapt to changes. For example, in the passage, James Lincoln Collier was offered a writing assignment that would require him to travel around Europe for three months. In spite of the fact that, he had travelled to other countries a few times, he was not well versed in foreign languages. As a result, he was reluctant in accepting this offer because he assumed that language
