The aroma of the salty ocean breeze dances around me. The ocean splashes onto the million small grains of sand while tickling the feet of the diverse people who travel among it. Music of the waves sing in perfect unison with sound of the natives playing their drums, their beautiful harmonies fill the resort while they wait for generous people with anything to spare. I look around and embrace every small detail, like the small sand crabs that scurry across my newly pedicured toes and the shattered shells that gouge into the bottoms of my feet. I've been reading about Atlantic City's history recently, checking out books from the library like Boardwalk of Dreams, The Northside : African Americans and the creation of Atlantic City, and Casino gaming in Atlantic City : a thirty year retrospective, 1978-2008. I'm trying to figure out why the South Inlet looks like a 50 year old urban renewal project that ran out of cement 40 years ago, while the casinos have raked in $120 billion dollars over the last 35 years. Riding down Pacific Avenue near the lighthouse you see whole blocks cleared out with an occasional house sticking out, some new construction, and a few stray tourists who got lost and wandered off the Boardwalk.

Ocean CIty is a beautiful vacation place, not just for the summer. Many people go there to relax, make memories and have a good time. It is a fun-filled, family-friendly vacation place that everyone will enjoy and it is worth the drive.

The community that I will be describing is the city of Long Beach. In this city there are many people of age and ethnicity. This city is very diverse in having many people of different cultures and backgrounds. Downtown Long Beach is where people go to eat, have fun and hang out near the Pike. At the Pike is where you’ll find a lot of young people going to the movies or shopping. In this city it is filled with young adults and they are the majority of the community. A lot of the young adults have jobs and there are some that are going to school. Younger adults are more prone to trying new things which sometimes can lead into a health issue. In this city I will be discussing a main health problem that might be relatable to other cities. The health problem that will be discussed is the use of tobacco products in young adults. Some products are cigarettes, e-cigarettes, vapes, chewing tobacco, and hookah. These products are used daily by young adults in this community.

Ocean City is located near Fenwick Island, near the Delaware line. On the bridge, you get a beautiful view of the bay and you see boats going all around you and under you. It is a three to four-hour drive depending on traffic. Once you get to Ocean City, depending on where you are, there is a view of the bay on one side and on the other side, you have a beautiful view of the waves and the sand.

My vacation to South Padre Island Beach was memorable. There were so many amazing sights and smells. I remember as we grew closer to the beach I could hear the splashing roars of the waves as they rushed to the shore. I can still taste the salty sea air as I walked down to the beach, the seagulls flying above me squawking at everyone below. Kids building sand castles and playing in the water as parents sat, watching them nearby. As I stood in the warm, vanilla colored sand of the beach, I felt a calm peace, as the cool ocean breeze blew around me. Later, while I was walking down the coast, cool water splashing on my feet, I could smell the zesty aroma of a nearby barbeque taking place as families enjoyed the glowing sunset as the day came

I view the beach as a beautiful vacation spot. The beach is a place for family, romance, and fun. Although the beach is just a strip of land that lies on the edge of a lake, river, or ocean. Beaches are alive. They are the homes of crabs, clams, and fish. The beautiful shells that travelers search for are just erosions from the sea brought in by the tides. The shells have greater meaning to me it’s an adventure to search for them and a token of the vacation. While at the beach I love to sit on

During the summer of 2016 my family went to Ocean City, New Jersey for vacation with my mom’s boyfriend's family. We went with his son and his wife and kids and his daughter and her kids. We have known them for about 7 years, so we consider them as family now. Since the vacation my sister has been the children's favorite, but on this vacation the she is two years old being the youngest of the children. Amber and I bonded during the week we spent together. During the week at Ocean City we did many things as a family, like to go on the beach, go on the boardwalk at night, go out to eat together and many more things.

What isn’t at the beach? The beach is a relaxing and comfortable place to be with friends and family. Whether it’s taking a walk on the beach as the golden sand oozes under your toes or relaxing on the beach as the bright sun beams on your skin. Suddenly you get hot, so you decide to take a swim as the waves smash into the shore. If you get hungry, conveniently there’s a surplus of foods to choose from to satisfy your cravings. If you get bored, games, rides and amusement rides are available at your fingertips. From beach to beach, Ocean City, MD to Assateague Island, the shores have a lot to offer. The coastlines which are 18 miles apart, are vastly different due to the history and founders of the east coast beaches. You’ll observe the benefits they have to offer their communities and see just how important these places are.

The beautiful scenery of Santa Monica beach is about 15 miles north of Los Angeles International airport, off the Pacific Coast highway one. It was a typical routine indeed, to arise in the wee ours of early Saturday mornings, to drive and arrive at the most beautiful, unforgettable beach. In spite of rude awakening to the cacophony of birdsongs in the break of dawn, it was a galvanizing routine on Saturday mornings, over loading our hideous, yellow bronco, and driving to the beach. Moving into the jungle of vast buildings, the streets filled with cabs, limos, and cars going in each and every direction you can imagine, leaving behind the aroma of exhaust tracing through the air. Progressing towards the inner city of New York the smell of different restaurants will soon be introduced to one's nose straightaway. Down on the corner of each street be ready to approach a street vendor calling out your name! Heaps upon heaps of pedestrians will be flowing down the sidewalks, reminding one of a stream of diversity.

Where do you go to for your birthday? I usually stay home, but this birthday was special. For my 12th birthday, my family and I went to Ocean City. I was in Ocean City for three days. Going to Ocean City is one of my favorite places to go for vacation. We went before when I was little, but now it had been five years since I have gone to Ocean City. When I found out we were going to Ocean City I was overjoyed. We left on Friday, September 2nd. This was one of the best birthdays ever!

I made sure to get plenty sand nice and packed. I started shaping the sand into a tower. I could feel the sun beating on my back, my hair whipping around in the wind. I could hear the waves crawling up to the shore. It was the perfect summer-
