No other city has the best and brightest people along with the most breathtaking views in America. New York City is unlike any other city that can be visited worldwide. With the busiest streets, everyone is making their dreams happen in the city where everything begins. New York has countless options of things to do for tourists but it’s impossible to stop at every attraction. In the city that never sleeps, the most important highlights are Central Park, Broadway, and the 9/11 Memorial and Museum. One of the most gorgeous natural landmarks that is visually immaculate and aesthetically perfect is Central Park. Central Park was designed by Frederick Law Olmsted who was an architect, writer, and public administrator. In his architecture, he was fascinated by “democratic idealism” which was a newer type of engineering using both function and beauty to create something spectacular. Although, Central Park wouldn’t be complete without famous architect Calvert Vaux. With 40 years of experience designing the most prestigious houses, museums, and parks, Calvert worked with Frederick to design Greensward Plan. The Greensward Plan won a competition in 1858 and the park began developing directly afterwards. The plan took 15 years of construction and strenuous work to complete and was opened in 1873.
