Memoir Draft
I can hear many cars driving by and a lot of people talking. When we walked into the resort there was a lot people and I could hear many people talking at once, some people are worried and they are having problems with their rooms. I can taste the not very fresh air because there has been many people walking through here. The resort is called Wilderness lodge. It is a really big resort with many different water parks. Right when we got there we had to find our room. When we got to our room we walked in and it was really big. In the condo that we had we shared it with my grandparents. There were two master bedrooms that both had a bathroom in them, then there was another room with 2 beds that me and my sisters slept in. There was another separate bathroom, a laundry room, a big kitchen, and a big living room. My cousins family is bigger so they got their own room. The first day of being at the resort we walked around to see what was all there. Later that night we went to one of the water parks. When we walked into the water park all I could hear was many kids screaming and talking very loud. I can smell chlorine in the air. The air is very humid and wet. Next we had to try to find a place to put our stuff so that we could swim. We put our stuff down and went into the water. We wanted to save the waterslides for tomorrow when everyone was swimming so we didn’t stay in the waterpark very long. We all got our stuff and headed back to eat supper. It was a
“I don’t wanna die!”, the lady next to me screamed. My already scared mind was now even more afraid. It had all started when I wanted to go to Six Flags Magic Mountain. It was Summer 2015 and we were in Los Angeles at the time. After much begging with my parents, we finally decided to go to Six Flags. As we pulled into the parking lot, I was amazed at how tall the rides were. Then I felt my heart sink as I started to feel nervous. We bought our tickets and walked to the Lex Luthor’s Drop of Doom ride. My dad said that it would be a good ride to get us into the mood. As we walked to the line, I could feel the heat of the black asphalt reflecting back onto me. It was over 30 degrees and there was no nearby shade. The sun was shining in my eyes, but we eventually made it to the lineup. The line was located in a building resembling a shed. The moment we stepped in, I could feel the air conditioning cooling my face. This was it, only half an hour worth of waiting in line left. Eventually, we started to move in the line and soon we got to the point where the line exits the shed and is outside. We were almost there. I could feel it! Then people started pushing against us. I heard murmur in the crowds. People were leaving the line. I asked one of the Six Flags employees what was happening. She told me that the ride had broken down and they were waiting to repair it. My heart started racing and my mind began to panic. The threat of the ride breaking down on me and potentially dying
It was are second day there, and me and my brother were woken up by nooks. After the hundred nook, I got my lacy ass up and drag my feet to the door. When I opened the door I sow that it was my persons. My dad started scrumming at us about how late it was and why we were still asleep. They came inside the room and stared talking about the plans for the day. After that I got a tallow and hided to the restroom to tack a shower. When I got in the shower the water was wormed but all of the sadden it got very hot. As the hot water touch my skin I stared to jump and
Have you ever used a tap-to-pay credit card or walked through an automatic door? Have you ever used the GPS on a cellphone or gotten shopping suggestions while browsing a shopping website? Chances are that anyone could answer yes to most of those questions, and if so they have potentially already been picked up by a big data system. Extremely similar techniques of collecting data are being used in the Disney World of today so that Disney can know where their consumers have been, what they look at, and what they buy. Imagine Disney as a shepherd who was struggling to keep up with his ever-growing “flock” of “sheep” — or the people visiting Disney World park and resort; Disney decided that in order to better manage the influx of guests he
During Spring break when we were at the hotel we wanted to go swimming so we went. When we got there it wasn’t just a swimming pool, it was an indoor water park. There was a little kids area, right next to it was basketball pool, then next to that was a normal pool. There were two slide coming from the second floor, one yellow and one green, the yellow one to the right of the kids area and the green to
We reserved a master hotel room. We noticed there was a kitchen that's an island. There is a mini refrigerator, stove, microwave, plates, bowls, forks, spoons, butter knives, and cups. In the living room there was a black slim sofa, flat screen tv,and Glacier white PS4, also with Glacier white controllers. There was a note in the living room table it says. The PS4 is for free we have a lot of them they are very new. Next, was two rooms one for Michael, and for me. There was a bed with a pillow, sheets, and blankets. There is a closet, flat screen tv,and a bathroom.Afterward we looked around the building and we decided to play video
I was standing in line with my sister and cousin waiting to get on the “Viper”. We were at Six Flags having already been in the long line an hour and a half. We all went on our favorite rides, then we decided to go on the roller-coaster. This was going to be my very first ever roller-coaster in my life. Then the roller coaster conductor told us to get on the coaster. I jumped in, put my seatbelt on and listened to the safety precautions. Then the conductor pressed the button and we were off.
After we got our bags, a van picked us up and took us to our resort. On our ride over to the resort I saw people weaving in and out of vehicles. At that moment I was scared; I remember thinking, “Where did my grandparents take us.” After about thirty minutes we arrived at our resort. My grandma started getting us all checked in. When she was finished I was finally able to go check out our hotel room and the rest of the resort. The room was nice, but the resort was
About seven years ago, I went to Six Flags for the first time ever. I was only about ten years old at the time, and of course I was extremely nervous. I had a lot of questions about it because of course it was all new to me with it being my first time going to an amusement park. I had asked about the big rides they have of course, the really popular water park they have at Six Flags, and of course I had to ask about the good amusement park food. As soon as I got there, my heart instantly dropped.
A few weeks ago I went to Florida with my grandparents, they are the best. I was so excited and the drive to the airport took forever. The plane ride took a really long time, and when we finally got to Florida it was late. When I woke up the next morning I went to the beach and the sand was super-hot on my feet, but once I went in the water I cooled off. The sun was always shining and it was really hot. I forgot to put sunscreen on one day and I turned bright red. There were a lot of palm trees in my surroundings. The condo that we stayed was a very popular place because a lot of people stayed there. There was so much stuff to do and see that we couldn’t do everything that we wanted to. We went and packed oranges from the trees, ive never seen
Ever heard of this place called Disneyland? Yes, that huge phenomenon that every little child loves and even teenagers and adults love. Where there is these amazing rides and every Disney character you can think of is there! You probably know it as this amazing place that everyone loves and there is no wrong! Or maybe parents even know Disneyland from taking their child there so maybe they could get their energy taken out!
For my entire life as I knew it, I had been skiing. Ever since I was a little, chubby four-year old, tumbling right off the magic carpet like a glove in the dryer every time it shuddered even just the slightest bit, I’d been on skis. And I was more than satisfied with that. It was the same every Saturday afternoon during winter: my mom would spend almost an hour smothering me in layers upon layers of fleece, coaxing my pudgy legs into my snow pants, and tugging at me and attempting in vain to force my feet into my hand-sized ski boots, haul after heave, until I was finally ready to hit the snow. And then I would realize I had to go to the bathroom. Eventually, I think it got remotely easier as I learned how to do it myself, although I absolutely despised putting on my boots myself and the suffocating heat of one too many layers, as hot as the elementary school classrooms that year when all the air conditioners decided it would be a good idea to stop working in June.
As I pick up speed I feel the wind push harder and harder in the opposite direction, but my jacket breaks its bite. The reflection of the sun on the stark white snow makes the path ahead harder to see; my destination is still visible, its dead ahead. As I close in I have second thoughts but it's too late for that now. I lean forward to ride my edge and make a quick turn as I launch off of the jump which sends me into a spin until I'm facing my original direction, 360 degrees then my snowboard touches the ground again and I land it. Well, at least I planned on landing it. However, the reality of the situation was different, I ended up hitting the hard snow with my head and shoulder. That happened on my most recent skiing/snowboarding trip. I've been skiing for as long as I can remember but the past few trips I have snowboarded instead. Skiing and snowboarding are some of the things that I'm most passionate about, but the most important part is doing those things with my family and friends. So, get ready to learn some knowledge about me.

The only sound that filled my ears was my keyboard clicking as my fingers raced across it. I had been procrastinating from finishing this assignment all evening, but I knew I needed to get it done. The burning sunset was shining through the windows as I was finishing up. It was a peaceful silence, until I heard the soft whispers of my parents that ignited my sense of curiosity. I was concentrating hard; doing my best trying to make out the hushed words that were being spoken.
The warm breeze of the ocean air flies past my face. The heat of the yellow sun was sizzling, beating down against my skin, tanning and burning it within seconds. Beach goers were crowded around in all directions. Seagulls gliding past the groups of people, scouting for dropped or forgotten food to eat. Their little footprints marking a trail in the sand all over the place, going in a million different directions, searching for their next meal. I take in the exquisiteness of it all, the blue-green waves crashing into the sandy shore, making white foam and bubbles wash into the sea, little boys and girls that are digging in the bright white sand running away from the small waves before they get wet. The beach is a stunning place to be; there's just something about the ocean waves and the sand between my toes that makes me just want to stay there forever.
