Delta Zeta Iota Summary

Good Essays

The Iota Chapter of Delta Zeta Delta Zeta Iota was brought to the University of Iowa in 1912. In 1999, Delta Zeta left Campus and recolonized in 2001. Since the recolonization, our chapter has been able to complete some massive accomplishments, considering that the Greek Community here at Iowa is different than many other universities. That decision made a lot of people angry, the people that did not want to fully participate in the things all members of Delta Zeta should do. However, it motivated the middle segment to get out and be a face in the FSL community. Over 60% of our chapter is able to go to the banquet on Saturday, and I hope that number rises in the following semesters. We are also reaching out to every IFC fraternity on campus to have socials and non-alcs with. By doing so, we are risking rejection to meet new people and foster new relationships. I’m excited to see who takes us up on that and how we can branch out. We are not an unpopular sorority. We follow the rules and are smaller, and we generally do not try to meet other chapters outside of our four main
