It continues to explore how each nation uses this tool and if social media impacts their beliefs and culture.
In chapter 5, it explains how social media’s use and human communication intertwine and how it is applied today. In chapter 6, it highlights the effects of social media on society as a whole.

Cyberbullying and imposter syndrome which highlights the idea of a screen allowing them to say whatever they want believing there will be no consequences. The idea of a digital footprint and how everything that goes on the internet and social media is permanent.

“Social Media ‘Likes’ Impact Teens’ Brains and Behavior.” was research done by Association for Psychological Science that exhibits the concept of teens exposing themselves to more “risky behavior.” 32 randomly selected teenagers were put through test at UCLA’s Ahmanson- Lovelace Brain Mapping Center.
The teenageers were presented with 148 different photos on a computer screen for 12 minutes including 40 photos that each teenager submitted and analyzed their brain activity. They concluded that teens are most likely going to like the photos that are a little more “risky” than neutral.
