Coolness, night sky, outside, fireflies, moonlight, chasing and playing tag with her sister, up until her sister poofed into dust, still hearing laughter as everything seemed to be watered down and dripping. The fireflies seeped into goo, the ground was shaking, the night sky’s stars were falling like raindrops, even the bits and chunks of the sky. She panicked, looking around, scared and confused. She kept hearing laughter, until everything was silent, until everything wasn’t moving, until everything was gone. She stopped, heard her sister’s voice calling her name, so she turned around to see her sister, only it wasn’t her at all. Her sister’s eyes were just black holes, her teeth looking jagged, her hair in a messy braid.
“Why did you do this to me?”, she spoke in a small whisper, then everything was dark once again. Whispers kept sounding in her ears as one small light shone, she walked toward it, then everything was clear.
“Come on Ashley!”, her mother trying to wake her up out of her slumber, “It’s time to wake up!”. Ashley awoke, feeling well rested, as did her sister in the next room. Her mother stepped away from Ashley’s bed to give her some room to adjust herself. Her mother couldn’t contain her excitement, so she exclaimed, “It’s Christmas Day!”, and THAT got Ashley’s attention. Ashley went to the next room to her sister, in which her sister was trying to awaken herself. Ashley waved her hand to come downstairs to the tree, and her sister knew what to do every
