Politics can be dirty like when organizations use employees by refusing to apply guidelines and practices or concealing instructions for employees. Instead of hiding from politics, employees should focus on being political savvy, when it comes to politics. This practice can be helpful to encourage employees to be mindful and not fearful of political roles or actions. A political savvy employee will offer to join others in board meetings. This employee will focus their time on getting involved in professional networks. This can have a positive effect and encourage others to get involved. This also helps others feel connected in the workplace. Compass Employee Career Management Form pg. 3 Assessment and feedback are important to employers and employees when used wisely. Achievement appraisals can contribute to employees that aim high to achieve job goals. It can also lift the confidence of employees by this bonus and appreciation system.
