PlayStation 3 vs. X-box 360 People who play video games have often debated on which console is better: X-box 360 or a PlayStation 3. There are many reasons why people that play video games think the X-box 360 is better, and others who think the PlayStation 3 is better. However, why do people argue about which one is better if they both share some of the same features? The following are a few reasons why they are very similar. Although people think that the PlayStation 3 and the X-box 360 are different, they are actually very similar. One way that the PlayStation 3 is similar to the X-box 360 is that they both have the compatibility to use a High Definition Multimedia Interface also known as an HDMI. (Diffen) The X-box 360 and the PlayStation 3 are also similar in CPU processing of 3.2 GHz, although the X-box 360 has a cell processor with eight cores and the PlayStation 3 has a PowerPC with a Tri-Core Xenon. “The X-box 360 and PlayStation 3 are both 7th generation games”. Both the X-box 360 and the PlayStation 3 have an internet browsing capability as well as a motion sensor that you have to buy separately. The PlayStation 3’s motion sensor is called “PlayStation move”, while the X-box 360’s motion sensor is called a “Kinect” (Diffen). The PlayStation 3 and the X-box 360 both have the compatibility to use four wireless controllers. Although they have their differences, the consoles are both great for people that play video games. The consoles are both capable in terms of quality and gaming. The console to play video games on does not matter because of the similarities of the two consoles.
