Between a rock and a hard place
In November, American voters will be between a rock and a hard place, or you may say between the devil and the deep blue sea, when they come to elect the 44th president. After the worst president in all of American history, the best choice Americans will have for president is either a 72-year-old authoritarian maverick or a black man whose middle name is Hussein. What’s wrong with America? This is the greatest nation in the world, and it became so because of its dedicated founding fathers and its distinguished popular presidents.
Both McCain and Obama have impressive resumes when viewed objectively. They are both committed to protecting and defending the United States against both foreign and domestic
John McCain has had a long and outstanding career in the political world and has all the qualifications it takes to be the President of the United States. Though some people would argue that he’s not fit for the job because of his age and health. Because of the lack of participants voting in this years election, due to the candidate running, I believe Senator John McCain would be an exceptional President due to his political experience, military background, his diplomatic services and because he is a well respected war
How was Barack Obama able to defeat John McCain? Discuss the impact of President Bush’s approval ratings, the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, and the economy. Lastly, discuss the ways that issues of race and gender affected the election.
In the midst of a heated presidential race two great leaders are vying for the affection of all of America. On the left side we have our current president Mr. Barrack Obama and on the right side his opponent Mr. Mitt Romney. On paper both are outstandingly qualified candidates and both have been trusted to hold a position of leadership over large numbers of people. Mitt Romney built his foundation through a strong career in business before becoming a politician, while President Obama stuck to the legal side of things building up his reputation as a civil rights lawyer and activist. In this review of both candidates I will attempt to unbiasedly inform the reader of their qualifications as powerful leaders
Contrast of presidential *campaign positions of McCain and Obama. From year to year, presidential elections face many controversial problems that involve candidates’ personality and ideas, and they have a great influence on voters’ decisions. Many journalists and politicians express their feelings about upcoming presidential elections in provocative articles, revealing accomplishments of one and limitations of another, but the only right way to find out who our candidates are, and what are their real intentions, is to let them turn their ideas into life. Just remember the words of President George Bush during the 2000 campaign about building a nation. His position was very clear and stated that it is none of the government’s business, and
“The focuses on changes in immigration law announced by U.S. President Barack Obama to protect undocumented immigrants from deportation.” He also passed the Dream Act which helps undocumented students to go to college. People can come and just work they just have to get a visa.“It mentions that the immigration changes announced by Obama include sharing of the Secure Communities program with Federal authorities and changes in rules that allow foreign entrepreneurs to obtain a visa.” Obama has been helping a lot of undocumented people to become citizens or just let them work in the United States.

The impact of President Bush’s approval ratings was low since 2008 election. The wars in Afghanistan and Iraq cause the US economy to spend about 4 trillion and lost about 6 thousand service members, and Obama planned to continue the war in Afghanistan. The impact on the economy under Bush was somewhat good. Unemployment was low, but poverty increased.
Election night was a night of uncertainty. On November 8, 2016, half of America was left in complete shock when several mainstream media outlets reported Donald Trump as the new president-elect. Everyone wanted to know what the future of America would be. Numerous celebrities took to social media to encourage individuals to protest for what is right. Not only did African-Americans protest but so did whites and many other minorities. We fear that he will be very reckless with foreign leaders, enslave black people again, and also continue his rash comments via Twitter. Like many others in my community, I believe that anyone who thinks he is unfit to be president should continue to
In a few days Donald Trump will become our president of the United States. Between Obama and Trump they are so much different Obama is a whole different person from Trump. I realized so much in these two from their speeches they did, from the way they talk, body language, and how they act around the press. I realized and i always knew that Trump would never make a good president just from speech. I have always liked Obama he did amazing things for us, he changed so many things in the US i am glad he was our president.

On inauguration day, January 20, 2017, this country will have a new President. As I reflect on Barrack Obama’s presidency, I feel a sense of disappointment
Like every election, this presidential election has two very powerful nominees running. In 2016, Hillary Clinton will be running for the Democratic political party, while Donald Trump runs as the Republican nominee. Having different ideologies based on being liberal or conservative lead both to proposing different social policies pre election. Each nominee will propose social policies based on their ideology and their beliefs. Some policies may benefit the low income, while others may favor the wealthy Americans.
Though the arguments tend to start with differences between both political parties, the two parties do have some things in common. Both Democrats and Republicans want to win, and win by a landslide. Democrats and Republicans both elect a candidate to represent their party in local and national elections. Along with wanting to please the public, both parties advocate their policies. Both of these presidents, former and current, have opinions on what America should be moving towards, to better the country. These presidents have both done their fair share for this country already, though Trump has only been in office for a year, while Obama has been in office for a full term, then was re elected for another. They both, though, like all things, have many similarities and differences, these things are likely affected by their party, and mindset, along with their personality. For instance, Obama is apart of the Democratic party, while Trump is apart of the Republican party, making their outlook on America and things like taxes and abortion, different. Differences
People were jumping excitedly around, pumping their fists as they chanted USA. Blue party streamers flew in the air as his supporters flooded the streets cheering. Millions were sitting on the edge of their couches as Wolf Blitz announces the predicted President Elect in 2008: Barack Obama. After an 8 year Republican-led presidency riddled with turmoil and heartbreaks, the people breathe a sigh of relief as they ready themselves to write the next chapter of their country’s history. The way in which power is obtained and maintained differs greatly depending on the country. In our democratic America, political power can only be obtained and maintained through a perfect balance of pleasing both the general public and special interest groups, due to the fact that they both influence the decisions of political figures in separate ways. While Obama may have come into power through the support of Americans in 2008, it would be an uphill battle to maintain his power in an increasingly divisive country controlled by extreme special interest groups.
