There is so much more to life than working but if you're not willing to work hard in the beginning then your whole life you will do nothing but work. I started working for Kistler Tire & Auto when I was 15 and maintained that job for almost two years. Working at a young age changes your personal appearance towards others and helps build a great responsibility that a lot of kids understand. I have an older sister, younger twin brothers, my mom and my dad who recently passed away from pancreatic cancer. None of them could have been more proud of me for working hard for what I want at such a young age.
Through the years of growing up I was very active, participating in several different groups, teams, and activities. I have also set several goals which I have accomplished over time. Some groups that I have been involved in include cub scouts, Kansas fur trappers and teen group for the church of the Nazarene. Teams that I have participated in include seventh and eighth-grade year football for the Belle Plaine Bulldogs, and track for the Bulldogs. I played football as a freshman for the Udall Eagles, and Basketball for the Eagles my freshman and senior year. I was also a part of the youth league at the Derby bowl for two years. I have always enjoyed being involved in school activities. By the end of my high school career, I will have played volleyball and golf all four years. Although I was never the superstar or the best on the team for either sport, I always enjoyed playing and being supportive of my teammates. Getting involved with a team and making new friends has been half the fun. Not only do I play sports, but I also enjoy attending other sporting events. My favorite two sports to watch are football and basketball. While in third grade, I cheered on the 2004 Indian football team to a victory during the State game at Camp Randall. In 2012, I supported both the girls’ and boys’ basketball

By having a job a teenager can save up for college, to buy a car, to buy a stereo, etc. Teenagers feel 'free' when they have a job: they can spend their own money on whatever they want without feeling guilty. In addition to helping his family, having a job at an early age can help for future jobs.
Many people today find themselves in “dead-end” jobs, or they feel like work is purposeless and frustrating. At the same time, some people figured out that work is a blessing to them. People who suffer their lives in a slavery for many years in another country, think that work is a curse because they were ruled by people. They work because they are forced by other people. Work is a blessing for most people, but for some people work is a curse because of the lack of opportunity. Work is a blessing for those who understand it. To understand that work is a blessing was one of true understanding the purpose of life. It is important because not knowing the purpose of life brought people depressed. As Honore said “I'm retired from the Army, but
I began working at the age of eight years old at the restaurant. For me it was exciting, I wasn’t doing anything that I did not do at home, but I was making money. For an eight year old it was like allowance but it was much more than any of my friends. My dad admired the fact that I always worked extra hard, but little did he know that I saw what happened to my older sibling who were trying to live a normal teenage life, and being shunned for not wanting to give their all to his dream. I was eight years old, I really did not have a choice. By the time I was ten years old, the restaurant had been going pretty well, so dad decided to open a candy store next door to the restaurant for guess who to manage, yes me. I was his pride and joy and he knew that with my hard work that I would be a success. Of course at ten years old, I was completely excited for the opportunity. Little did I know that the people that I would be managing would be my older siblings who were not to excited about having to answer to a ten year old.
The best benefit from working is to have money, and it also gives you something to occupy your time. This lets them learn the value of the dollar and what it’s worth. They will learn how to get money, and how you have to work for it. They will start “understanding how to be smart about what they spend and knowing that money is earned, not granted.”(Ranae). Teenagers can start appreciating the value of money, and that it isn’t always easy to make a few dollars.
I believe there are several reasons why a young person should work to earn an allowance. First, it prepares you for adult life that requires working for a living. Working for your money makes you appreciate it more. You're more likely to save the money if you worked hard to get it. When you work for your money you are more likely to think before you spend it on something. Working for your money will also teach you how to save instead of spending it all.
The career I have chosen to pursue is Industrial Electronics Technician. The reason I have chosen this first of all is due to me loving to fix things and work on electronics. I like to know how they work and also what makes them work. The thought of it just fascinate me; I love being able to learn new things and being in this field just helps that. This field teaches about wiring up machines or computer and fixing them. We also test to see if they are functioning properly. An Industrial Electronic Technician often sometimes works in factories or other settings, where they look after and fix manufacturing equipment by doing general maintenance, inspections, and general repairs.
