People are afraid to let go because they want to be loved. Kishan has to either stay in the past with a girl he barely knows or go to the future with Kelsey, the one he believes he loves. As he is struggling to make this choice, he takes in consideration what it would mean for Kelsey. On pages 11-12 Kishan says, “I considered my brother. That he loved Kelsey was certain….. The question was…could Kelsey be happy without Ren? I knew the answer in an instant. No. She’d try her best, but a part of her would always grieve for him. The choice was suddenly obvious. The tiger that stayed behind would have to be...me”(Houck). Knowing how much he loved Kelsey and how painful it would be to leave her, Kishan still wanted her to be happy. He put her needs above his and made the agonizing choice of staying behind. This choice actually led to his trials with Ana and later on, their love. Some choices are more difficult than others

Liam is alone in his house at the end of the episode; his wife and child gone. Because of her past affair with Jonas, he pushed her away, but, despite all of this, he still loves her. The lyrics of “I Need U” mirror Liam’s conflicting emotions: The situation in the lyrics is strikingly similar to what Liam is going through. His wife hurt him by cheating on him, but he can’t stop thinking about her, shown by his flashbacks at the end of the episode. These conflicting emotions are caused by simultaneously hating his wife and loving the pleasant memories he had with her. The picturesque past is haunting him, which leads him to take drastic measures. In order to erase these, now painful, memories, Liam cuts out his grain. Looking at “I Need U,” the characters here also try to destroy their memories. Jimin burns mementos while sitting in the bathtub, and Taehyung crumples a photograph. These characters want to erase these moments that were once so important to capture. Meanwhile they sing “memories crumble like dried flower petals,” as if the memories are deteriorating on their own. It’s in the nature of a memory to fade like this, but in Liam’s world, if they want to get rid of a memory, they have to actively kill it. For Liam and the characters in “I Need U,” the memories are “crumbling” because the mere existence of them urges the characters to destroy them.
Written by Aravind Adiga, The White Tiger tells the story of a man who went from living with nothing to someone with everything he could ever want. Balram Halwai grows up in “the Darkness,” an area of India where, among other things, family was the main source of life and contempt for family was of the utmost evil. When he decides to find a job outside of his social circle, Balram’s family implores him to send money home to sustain them. He finally hits his final straw when his grandmother begins to try to force him to be married, something he does not have interest in and knows it will take away his independence. Once he disconnects from his family, he is able to be himself, free from his former life that tied him down. As Balram Halwai embarks on his journey to become successful as the “White Tiger”, the social concept of family breaks down, thus giving way to him finding his independence.
Our choices not only affect us, but affect everyone else around us. This stands very true in this story in which where the Princess chose the door with the tiger behind it. We have reason to believe that the Princess picked the door with the tiger behind it because of her actions and thoughts. As we see all through the story we observe that the Princess says many questionable things that suggest that she would have opened the door with the tiger.
Memorials to the nation such as the national cathedral symbolize many things to us that’s why memorials have importance to us they symbolize something major to us such as a battle or religion. Also, nuclear power could be the next solution for cheap energy for people and the radiation it gives off could even rid someone of cancer.
