Chores in school may seem odd in the America, but it is common in other countries especially Japan. It’s not about finance issues, disciplinary actions, or a chore, it’s a daily task for students to gain more responsibility and respect for their school and educational environment. In Avondale High School, Georgia, Tom Keating, a staff member, noticed how terrible the bathrooms were. There was toilet paper on the ceiling, constant backed-up toilets, writings on walls, and cigarette butts in the sinks. Many students had admitted they would rather hold it in all day than use the filthy school restrooms. Keating saw enough and did something about it. The transformation was slow and gradual, but the worked paid off at the end. With the help of the

The road to the historic desegregation of Little Rock Central High school began in the 1930’s when the NAACP tasked future Supreme Court Justice Thurgood Marshall with fighting segregation in schools. By 1950 he had helped to strike down segregation in universities in several states. In 1951, the NAACP aided parents of black children attending public schools in Topeka, Kansas in attempting to overturn the state’s segregation laws. After a three year court battle, the 1954 Supreme Court case Brown v. Board of Education Topeka culminated in the abolishment of school segregation laws in 21 states. (Seeds 1)
Being a sophomore at Cypress High School has already taught me much. My first year there I didn't know anyone but I quickly made friends with the friendly students of Cypress High. The teachers at Cypress are super friendly, they create a learning environment an enjoyable place to be. In the beginning of sophomore year AP teachers expose you experience a college environment which helps prepare us to be ready in the future.Being an athlete at Cypress High has taught me many things, some of them being sportsmanship, leadership skills, as well as teamwork. My overall review of Cypress High School is that it's an enjoyable and pleasant place to learn in.
These include the National Honor Society (NHS), Student Government, Future Farmers of America (FFA), Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA), Yearbook, Band, and Cheerleading. Extracurricular activities help develop teamwork and leadership qualities and are encouraged as a good way to help round out the school life of JHS
Wonder what it is like at Stafford Middle School? We have great physical and human geographic features. To begin with, we have clean floors that are mopped by the janitors and tables that are wiped down, also by the janitors everyday. We also have a clean football field that is made of turf, which makes it look nicer and cleaner. We have a safe school that is made of bricks, which protects us from storms and tornadoes.
Extracurricular activities are considered an important part of school life at OSHS because of the positive qualities gained from
The forecast called for more rain on the most awaited and thrilling day of their lives. Desoto High School graduating seniors were spackled with mixed emotions ranging from excitement, to rage. After receiving the news that Desoto High School’s district administrators failed to plan for a rainy day venue that could accommodate a stadium view crowd of elated parents, friends, and loved ones; graduating seniors ran around like chickens with their heads cut off-squawking and fumbling about. What were more than 600 graduating seniors to do? Where were they to go to complain about this incredible fiasco? The purpose of this essay is to re-tell of a short descriptive thrilling event in third person.
On the dark and stormy night of October 27th, superheroes, princesses, and critters of all kinds invaded Sullivan High School. They weren’t there to cause Halloween havoc, but to participate in Key Club and FCCLA’s Reading in Disguise event.
My school work and education are taken seriously. I know that my education will certainly affect my future.
At Mooresville High School during 7 a.m., it’s still dark outside in the cold Hoosier morning air, even though several students have come to school almost an hour before they need to arrive at the latest. The students walk through the long, empty “A” hallway to make their way to one of the very last classrooms, however, the door is still locked, so the students simply wait in the

What does school mean to you? Is it about what you learn or what you do? School is getting distracted more and more every year because of the occasions that are being made. The problems with events that have no educational value have a negative impact on Woodlynde. The events such as non-academic field trips, concerts and dodgeball tournaments eliminate the time we could use to learn. They are pointless and not a part of learning for the future. I believe Dr. Fulco and Mr. Shank should replace the non -academic events with actual learning events that teach the students. They can also change the calendar of school. Academics will actually teach the students and prepare them not just for the future, but also what every students wants to achieve.
My view of Monroe High School is that it is getting better but it still has a lot of work to do to improve. Since I have attended Monroe High School the school has been pushing towards the right direction when it comes to the education of it’s students. The school has innovated different classrooms in the institution which are called “the class of the future”. these classrooms include exclusive new smart boards and computer monitors the size of TV screens that surround the class that can be easily connected to chromebooks that the school provides for the students. Before the grading scale was changed to the ten point scale the number of Monroe High School students that achieve “A” “B” honor roll would increase each grading period. Now that
Every high school student is eager to move forward with their educational career once they graduate, for some going to college may be a breeze for the reason that they are financially stable, but for the rest of us like myself we have to go through student loans and debt just to pay off half of the tuition. Growing up in a Hispanic household plays an important role in my academics. I knew that money didn’t grow on trees as well as getting the never ending lectures from your parents about how education is the key to living a successful life. Not only am I fortunate enough to live a different life than my parents did, but considering the fact that Zapata High School offers every student to take college classes as long as they take and pass the
