The framers of the constitution did many things that limited the power of the president by creating impeachment, checks and balances, executive privilege, and allowing the legislature to declare war. However they gave the president too much power because they allow the president to court packing, they allow him to announce important events to the public, and allowing presidents to issue many executive orders. A president must be at least thirty five years old, a natural born citizen, and live in the United states (U.S.) for at least 14 years. The president is allowed to serve four year terms when he or she is elected.

The Civil War began as a purely military effort with limited political objectives. The North was fighting for reunification, and the South for independence. But as the war progressed, the Civil War gradually turned into a social, economic and political revolution with unforeseen consequences.

The Civil War is the middle event that is held in the America’s historical consciousness. The Civil War of 1861 to 1865 is the time where it determined what king of nation it would be. The Civil War left two questions unsolved by the revolution, whether the United States was to be an unsolvable confederation of sovereign states or an indivisible nation with a sovereign national government. The Civil War that occurred was one of the darkest times in our history as a country. It was a time where there was a complete breakdown of social and political systems. Hundreds of thousands were killed and hundreds of thousands more were aversely affected. However, it was also a time of remembrance and significant moral progress. It is remembered as the turning point in American History and would be the foundation for the Civil Rights movement many years later.

The Civil War was a lugubrious time. It consisted of destruction, death, and fighting between those who may have been close friends or family members before the war began. Even a little of these matters could be infelicitous, yet the Civil War was copious of them. However, it was not only during this disastrous war that things took a new path. The Civil War had many lasting effects, both meritable and unfortunate, that greatly impacted the United States and how it is today.

Many events during the mid-1700-1800s provoked the civil war because of the contradicting ideas between the northern states and the southern states. The conflict between the north and south that led to the civil war includes economic, social, and political events. At the meantime, slavery arose as a huge debate between the pro-slavery and anti-slavery faction. Fierce debates had sparked between the north and south states because of the southern states’ agrarian based economy. The geography in the northern states was based on industry, meaning they utilized machines and mass produced. In the social aspect, abolitionists wanted to eliminate slavery in the south which caused the civil war to bombard in Fort Sumter. Even though there were many contributing factors to the civil war between the Union and the Confederates, the geographical and social events mainly impacted the civil war.

The purpose of this paper is to compare and contrast the Parthenon in Athens and the Pantheon in Rome. There were two questions asked which were for us to “consider how the style and function (use) of each building serves as a typical example of its culture.” And also “How are the similarities and differences between ancient Greece and Rome seen in these two buildings?”. The buildings were built a few hundred years apart and while they do have differences they also have similarities. Section, para. 1). As explained, Lyme disease is spread through vector-borne transmissions. A vector-borne transmission is the spread of certain disease due to the bite of a vector. The vector in the case of Lyme disease is the blacklegged tick. Lyme’s etiology is explained by Perez and Bush (2014) as being “recognized in 1976 because of close clustering of cases in Lyme, Connecticut and is now the most commonly reported tick-borne illness in the US” (pg. 1). It is important to understand where a disease comes from so you can know where you are more likely to contract the disease.
