On 4/21/2017 at approximately 12:50 Hrs. I arrived in the area of 2103 Ave. I in reference to an assault. On arrival I observed a male subject later identified as Casey Durant. Durant was standing next to his electrician work vehicle that was parked on the side of the roadway. I observed the drivers side window had been broken. Officer Salazar and Officer Chrisman arrived on scene. Officer Salazar interviewed Durant. I observed glass in the center of the roadway which appeared to be from where the pickups window was broken out. Durant advised that he was struck with a bat like object by Damon Rayburn. Thomas advised that he located Rayburn's vehicle parked behind the residence of 2302 Austin Ave. I arrived at that located in an attempt to make contact with Rayburn. There was no contact that the residence at that time. Dispatch advised that they had received a phone call from "Nina" and that she was walking from 3rd. St. to 7-11 and would meet with officers. Officer Salazar searched in the area of 3rd. St and the 711 conveience store but was unable to locate Ballejo. Det. Taylor attempted phone conversations with Ballejo and Rayburn but was unsuccessful. Det. Taylor did continue communication with Durant who advised that he had communicated with Ballejo and advised that Ballejo and Rayburn was inside the Rayburn's residence. A-Chief Fuller arrived on scene to assist. At that time I spoke with Roy Maldonado and Roseann Ortega who exited a side "unattached" area of 2302 Austin, which they stated they lived in and was separate from Rayburn's residence. They advised they had not seen Ballejo or Rayburn this date. I met with an occupant at 2306 Austin "Trish" who advised that Ballejo was at the residence yesterday and was dropped of by an hispanic male in a black suv. At 5am Officer Singh called SA Lyn Brumaire who was on duty at Coral Tower because Jordan Horvat was worried a resident of 902, Stephanie Lee, was missing. Upon keying into the room with PSO Tabiri, the resident in questions, Stephanie Lee was found to be missing from her apt. Officer Tabiri then decided to take a statement from SA and resident Macayla Caso. Ms. Horvat was also not present in the room. Ms. Caso was under the assumption that Ms. Horvat had gone home since she was packing earlier in the day and the sheets were stripped off her bed.
On October 4th 2016 Deputy Akins was dispatched to 8821 Centennial Road for an accident involving a red truck that left the roadway and struck a parked vehicle. Upon arrival Deputy Akins saw a 2013 Red Dodge 1500 in the ditch with the truck’s front end smashed into the rear end of a 1001 Honda Civic. In the driver seat of the dodge truck was a male Caucasian. Deputy Akins recognized the male as Evan Case. Deputy Akins asked Mr. Case if he was injured. Mr. Case replied with I can just pay the deductible and leave right. Deputy Akins asked Mr. Case again if he was ok or if he needed medical. Mr. Case replied no.
Upon my arrival, I spoke with Wanda English, who stated that her son Randy McLeroy was drunk and busted the windows out of her house. I asked Wanda if she knew where Randy may have went since he had left prior to my arrival. Wanda stated that Randy has a house at 105 Cr 4568 but it does not have electricity. I then did a perimeter check at Wanda’s residence to see if I could locate Randy. While doing the perimeter check I observed several busted window at the residence. Sgt. Officer Saunders, Officer Torres and I contacted Suspect Jose Guadalupe Arevalo at 13 W. Hammond Street. Arevalo told me the following information in summary: On 03-14-16 at approximately 0930 hours, Arevalo was reportedly approached by Parra in the rear parking lot behind his residence. Parra told Arevalo that he did not properly screw in her vehicle’s inner driver’s door panel.
Upon arrival, Officer Jimenez made contact with Gerald Hendricks (W/M-DOB11/19/1981). Hendricks was standing outside the residence. Upon contact, Officer Jimenez could smell a strong odor of alcoholic coming from Hendricks breath. Hendricks told Officer Jimenez that he got into a physical altercation with his wife Amber Anderson (W/F-DOB02/12/1982). Hendricks stated that his wife was inside the residence. On June 7, 2016, officer T.Cramblett #1191 was working cruiser 9182D, Zone 1 DMW, wearing the uniform of the day. Around 11:38 A.M radio aired that a robbery had just occurred at 1910 S. Hulmac Ct. Apt D, and that the suspect was a male black wearing a black shirt, jeans and having a goatee. The victim stated that the male had fled westbound from her apartment towards the 3C market located on Tamarack Blvd. The victim also stated the male was accompanied by a white female. Officer Cramblett was on Tamarack Blvd. when the information was aired and started to circulate the area. Officer Cramblett pulled out of the 3C market and turned northbound onto Tamarck Blvd. where he observed Mr. Warner Cutler and a female white walking southbound
Upon our arrival, a Hispanic male later identified as Juan Navarro opened the front door but not the security screen door of the home. I advised Navarro that I was the North Las Vegas Police Officer and was at his home because of the 911 disconnect. I asked Navarro if anyone else lived in the home to which he responded his three kids and the mother(Miriam Garcia) of his children lived there as well. I asked Navarro if we could speak to them to ensure that they were all in good health. At this point, Garcia came to the door and Navarro told me he would not open the door at that they were all "ok". Garcia then opened the screen door and when she did I noticed Navarro had two fresh diagonal scratches on his neck as well as two small cuts on his neck.
On 10/12/17 at approximately 2145 hours, I received a call from James Coe (DOB 11/18/60). I explained to James I was looking for Dustin and he advised that's his son. I asked James if Dustin and he could respond to the police department, and he advised he would.
Evidence: Physical Brown razor and 2 photos (with fresh blood stains). Victim’s photo: 2 full body and 3 photos by pointing injuries. 4 shelter photos. 4 suspect photos and blood and alcohol test reports. Officer Harpreet booked all this evidence in county jail.
On 7/15/2015 at approximately at 0533 hours, Dispatch advised all units that a white male fitting the description of the suspect that fled after attempting to break into the residence at 1909 Holly Knoll Lane, was sitting on the porch at 304 Lark Tree Lane without a t- shirt or shoes on.
Prior to leaving the scene I did check the vacant residence directly behind 1431 Holly Trail East per Nita Dobbs request. While checking the residence I did observe the back door leading to the deck to be open. I observed no signs of forced entry and it did not appear as if the residence had been burglarized. I
On 6/9/17 at 1252 Hrs. Officer Villalpando was dispatched to a juvenile problem 1608 10th St. Caller, Nicholas Allen advised that his son, Kaden Boyd (14) who was currently on house arrest, “cut” off his ankle monitor and was last seen getting into a black passenger car. Officer Villalpando arrived and met with Mr. Allen who told him that Kaden had been missing once before while in the Austin area, and that Kaden was involved with the criminal element believing his son is traveling to Austin with an older male, Michael Tabler who had recently been arrested.
On Thursday, July 14, 2016, at approximately 0847 hours, Patrolman David Stamets had a vehicle stopped on the 100 block of East Oak Street. Immediately after Stamets stopped the vehicle Your Affiant positioned his vehicle on the 100 block of South White Street near the Oak Street intersection facing southbound. When exiting my vehicle your Affiant observed a gold Pontiac sedan accelerating northbound on South White Street at an unsafe speed towards Stamets and your Affiant's location.
I located the vehicle and pulled behind it without my emergency lights activated and I made contact with both the female driver and passenger. Shortly after, Edwards arrived on scene and he suspected that the driver, identified as Taya
Upon arrival, Officer Jimenez made contact with the victim identified as Marisela Corrales(H/F-DOB05/06/1981). Corrales told Officer Jimenez that she had been arguing with her husband Aurelio Carrillo (H/M-DOB11/21/1978). Corrales told Officer Jimenez she wanted Carrillo to leave her residence. Corrales stated that Carrillo no longer lived with her. Corrales told Officer Jimenez she felt threatened by having Carrillo inside the apartment with her. Officer Jimenez asked Corrales if Carrillo got physical at any point with her and Corrales said yes.
