UPDATE #2: On October 18, 2016, nearly one year after Peyton's arrest, the St. Clair County Circuit Court ordered him to be released from jail and into his father's custody. UPDATE 1: On September 8, 2016, the St. Clair County Circuit Court found Peyton not guilty by reason of mental defect. The court remanded him to a state mental-health facility to receive a Least Restrictive Environment recommendation.
