The newly acquired seven-time All-Star forward Joe Johnson of the Eastern Conference Southeast Division leading team Miami Heat said that he wanted to finish his playing career with the Micky Arison-owned basketball organization on Tuesday. The former Brooklyn Nets starter’s family has already moved with him in Miami, and that he had discussions with the Heat’s team President Pat Riley about him finishing his career in Miami, one of Johnson’s reasons on choosing Miami among other teams that have shown interest for his services. "The most important thing that Pat told me was that this wasn't just a short-term deal, that he would like for me to finish my career here," Johnson said. "And that's what we're working toward." Johnson was in the Heat’s
Lebron James is the MVP (Most Valuable Player), for the Cleveland Cavaliers. He lead the team to the championship in basketball and won it all. Earlier that year Lebron came back to Cleveland Cavaliers from the Miami Heat with Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh. Why leave when you have a big 3 on your team? He said he wanted to go home for his last few years of basketball. If you ask me I think he'll be in the league for at least more 5 years. Lebron is seventh on all time scoring 200 point over Shaquille O'Neal.
VC reported that his favorite basketball team is Chicago Bulls, and he wants to be a NBA basketball player when he gets older.
However, James decides to leave the Heat and went back to his hometown, Cleveland. Since then, Wade and Bosh carried the Heat franchise and lead the team to playoff appearances but never gone further. And now that Wade leaves the team and Bosh not cleared to play because of his health condition, the Heat is said to be looking for a high-caliber player to fill in that gap.

In this year’s 2016 NBA Draft, the Philadelphia 76ers selected Ben Simmons with the first overall pick. On September 30th, Simmons rolled his right ankle during a training camp scrimmage. After receiving an MRI of his foot and ankle, Simmons was diagnosed with a broken metatarsal in his right foot. Simmons is expected to recover from surgery to repair the Jones fracture in just three months but rumors are saying that he might sit out the entire 2016-2017 NBA season. Bob Cooney of the Daily News has cited a source telling him that the 76ers might be forced to allow Simmons sit the entire season based on the recommendation of his agent, Rich Paul. Bob Cooney stated that, “ I just got off the phone with someone I trust who said there’s no way his agent will let him play this season.” Rich Paul’s Klutch Sports Group represents players like LeBron James and John Wall. Paul is asking the 76ers to sit Simmons for the season to protect his client’s long-term health. This past summer, Nike signed Simmons to a five – year, $20 million endorsement contract. Performance bonuses could push the deal to over $40 million. Rich Paul sees the potential in Simmons becoming the face of Nike once he hits his prime. This particular injury
Mark Cuban, the Dallas Mavericks owner, said that the 1-and-done rule in college basketball is ruining it. He believes that even if the players don't go to school, they should at least go to the NBA development league (D-league). Cuban said, "[Cuban] just think there's a lot more kids that get ruined coming out early or going to school trying to be developed to come out early than actually make it," Cuban said. "For every Kobe (Bryant) or (Kevin) Garnett or Carmelo (Anthony) or LeBron (James), there's 100 Lenny Cookes" (MacMahon). Kobe, Garnett, Carmelo, and Lebron are all amazing players
