All employees are expected to be punctual and on time to work every day. We understand things come up and have came up with the following attendance and tardiness policy.
● Any absence acquired by an employee can be exempt with a legible doctors note.
● Any absence without doctor approval will result in 1 point.
● Points will roll off 1 year to date of point acquirement.
● At a total of 12 points acquired the employee would be terminated.
● Tardies under 1 hour will acquire ½ of a point.
● Tardies over 1 hour are considered 1 full point.

In order to do so, we must receive a doctors note from your medical practitioners office and you must have sick leave time available to do so.
Depending on our companies needs, leave will be granted on a first come first serve basis. Approval will be determined based on the companies staffing needs.
If you are terminated, resign, retire, or pass away and have any remaining annual leave pay, it will be distributed on a seperate check and given to you with your final paycheck.

C. Padmore prepares staff schedule at least one week in advance, therefore staff was encouraged to submit their leave request in advance to ensure the facility have adequate coverage. Emergencies do happen; however, staff was asked to submit request at least two weeks in advance. No last minute personal leave requests (Only in emergency situations)

This leave entitles employees to a 12 week unpaid leave within a 12 month period. It is 26 weeks for service men and women and their families. There are several components of this law that pertain to the number of employees, location of employees and the amount of time an employee has at their place of employment. Some employers may require you to use any accrued sick time, personal days or vacation time before the unpaid period
Although it can be hard at times, it is very important to read and keep memos given to you by employers. Company’s update their policies from time to time and you have to abide by the changes. When I worked for the state of Texas we would receive multiple emails regarding policy changes and or updates. I had to abide by the changes.
If it is determined that an employee is not eligible for leave, but there is sufficient medical certification, any leave already taken will be reclassified as sick leave in accordance with Merit Rule 9 and is subject to department attendance policies. If an employee fails to provide sufficient non-medical certification, the conditional leave will be reclassified as unscheduled vacation leave and will be subject to the Merit Rules and department leave policies. PTO system allowed employees to take time off without any restriction imposed through traditional time off policies .the approach give employees certain number of days that put in leave bank system ,upon withdrawal from employees the system reduce the balance of leaves remaining for the employees .with the paid off leave system the employees can utilize their allocated days however they wish, without having to specify reasons .employers can advantage from PTO asking the employees to determine their leaves in advance and employer can plan for lost work days and creating family environment through the organization .
Paid time off (PTO) is the system employer use to accumulate all kind of leaves as sick days, vacation days, and personal days that allows the employees to use upon need. this policy works mostly in the USA as such no legal obligation for a minimum number of paid vacation days. the PTO works best in the culture and accountable employee’s environment existing. US company’s regulator the amount off the pay day off that will be allocated to each employee. a general way, PTO system cover, everything from planned vacation to sick leaves .and are becoming more common in human resources management. unlike traditional more plans leave, PTO doesn’t distinguish employee’s absences from personal days or vacation days or sick days. Sick leave and vacation leaves will be according to the Family and Medical Leave Act, but management maintains an open mind about leave request that branch from emergency reasons, as long as company policies are observed.

As of 5/13/16 you have 16 PTO days and 5 hours left for the remainder of the year. Your request is for 24 days. Vacation request is granted. However, 6 days and 5 hours will be without pay. Make sure your time sheets and PTO sheets are completed before going on vacation. Moving forward all vacation request much be requested in January of each year.

Employees receive 8 paid sick days per year. A doctors’ note will be required after the third day. Anything over the 8 days, the employee will be paid at 80% of their regular salary or the extra sick time will be applied against their vacation days
