In red roses, Lila had a guy that gave her stuff and she never really noticed. His name is Derek and everyone in the school avoided him. So one day one of Lila’s friends was making fun of him so Lila stood up for him. Then Derek one day gave her roses and she kept them. People also bully him in his school because he’s different.
So the question is why do people bully others? I think they do cause it to make them feel better. Also to feel cool and make others like them. They shouldn’t bully him because they probably don't know his side of the story.
If you see someone getting bullied then you should step in and help someone out. Then you should start talking to them and be their friend. Lila stood up for Derek because she didn't want to see him get hurt. Because he has being nice her her and i think she just wanted to give back.

Now that i’m in 8th grade the 6th and 7th graders look up to us. We the 8th graders have to be role models so that they know how to act when they get here. Its pretty cool cause we get to show them how to do things how they are supposed to be done. Instead of learning the hard
When allowing it to happen, the person getting bullied could end up killing themselves. I mean, why would you allow such thing to happen? Also, the victim may feel like the bystander is supporting the bully because they’re allowing that to happen.
Being a good role model: This is very important to support the ages five to eight. Knowing fully well that the hearts of children are like a plain slate and they are quick in
Christianity is the top most practiced religion in the world, but that does not mean it is truly a divine and sacred religion as it is made out to be. From the very beginning when Christopher Columbus, an expeditioner, was spreading Christianity with good intentions of converting natives into a civilized, Christian society. However, his intentions was soon changed due to finding gold and an entitlement over the natives. The natives were manipulated and forced to become believers of Christianity and such a tragedy is significant because this event had started the foundation of Christianity. Juan Rulfo, author of the novel, “Pedro Paramo,” portrays the Catholic Church to be built on the weak foundation of immoral, faithless leaders and community
There are many different reasons that students bully others, it could be for laughs or just because their other friends are bullying that
Bullies get away with bullying because people want to be standing by. Elie Wiesel once said “The opposite of love is not hate its indifference”. People let other people take charge.
There is no reason to bully. You should settle problems in a civil way. We should all come together and try to make an impact on the bullies. One way to help is if we see something report it .We can also have arranged assemblies in school or outside of school. As a group make a website for anti-bullying. Together, as a group we can make a difference if we stand together nothing is impossible
bullying is a horrible thing that happens to a lot of tenagers, and it’s for for stupid things. Such as, how people dress or how they act. People thinks it’s funny, but it’s not at all.
After I stood up for the girl at my school, we became friends and I started to understand more about why she was getting bullied. She was bullied because of her creativity. She made new clothes out of her old clothes, and people called her homeless and weird because of it. But I thought it was cool. In “Red Roses” She stood up against her friends. I stand up against my friends when they make a rude comment about someone else. If we’re walking down the hall and my friend says “That person’s weird” I’ll say something like “there’s nothing wrong with being different.” Sometimes my friends will make fun of or bully someone but they don’t know they’re being a bully so I’ll say something. I think “Red Roses” was a good story that had a good moral. There’s nothing wrong with being different, stand up for others who are being bullied, and don’t be afraid to stand up against your friends. Everyone is different in there own way, even if they are kinda
However, there are some similarities as to why an individual would bully someone else online. Few of the reasons may include power, entertainment or control (Child Refuge, 2011). Conclusion can be made just from these reasons. Life as a teenager in high school can be very challenging. The bar is set high for these students because of high expectations from them or their parents. When children are bored, or lack the attention from their parents they seek entertainment which makes them more likely to become cyberbullies (Child Refuge, 2011). These individuals acquire control and power through humiliating their victims by harassing them or even putting fear to these helpless people through threats (Child Refuge, 2011). For those victims who were bullied, now realize it’s their time to shine and take the roll of being the bully.
According to Merriam Webster Dictionary bullying means, “prone to or characterized by overbearing mistreatment and domination of others.” Bullying can be done in many different ways, such as over social media(cyberbullying), verbally, and physically. All bullies are trying to get a reaction from their victim. However, if people stand up to the bully most of the time it will stop, if that doesn't work a punch to the nose will solve everything else.
Kids who bully another person feel that they accomplished something. For example "They think that it makes them popular, or that bullying may be a way to fit in. Bullying doesn't make someone popular or cool, it just makes them mean. People who bully are often scared about something about themselves, so they try to scare others to hide their feelings or pick on others so they won't get picked on first". Affecting a person mentally, physically, and emotionally is wrong and it will bring a teenager down inside. Mentally bullying is a form of abuse which can be punishable by law and it will cause some young teens to commit suicide. Physical bullying is a assault which it's also against the law and it will cause bodily harm and serious injuries towards a child. Emotional bullying will often effect both victim and bully, and as the victim they will go through emotions of anger, and confusion. The bully can be punished for taunting, and harassing the victim. However a lot of groups of teens feel that bullying is wrong and should be stopped
After some research, I found out that the main reason for someone to be a bully is the lack of attention, when a parent is absent from a child life, this kid crave attention, wants people too notice him. Another cause can be that the kid is being bullied from an older person that represents power to them, for example a parent, teacher or older sibling. That’s why they look for a less powerful target. There could be a multitude of reasons and situational forces that cause an individual to bully another. It is possible that the bully is in desperate need to be accepted by their peers and feels that devaluing another individual raises their own worth. It could possibly be jealous of the person being bullied. Whether it is of social or economic status, their romantic status or just that person has something the bully cannot obtain.
What appears to be bullying is not always bullying. There is this misconception that when someone disagrees with another person or is hurtful towards that person, bullying always seems to be what they say is going on. Although statistics shows that one in four kids are bullied, all aggressive actions are not bullying. If a person has self-esteem and self confidence in themselves and not let others tear you down the imbalance of power is balanced. Bullies have more power over their victims and always want to be on top. They enjoy displaying the power they have over their victim.
With no doubt a bully always wants to be better than anyone else, they hope to make others feel insecure and doubt their own abilities so the bully themselves can feel more powerful. They should not let their past effect their future, they should learn from being bullied in the past to become stronger in the future. Instead they get the urge to take out their anger on others, and make the feel equal to as they once did. It is sad to see how much their past can have a burden on them. For example, when dogs have a rough “childhood”, they tend to be mean to their new owner or anyone that reminds them of their past. That is similar to how people are, if something brings up anything that upsets them, it could go wrong very quickly. It is not something good to do because the other person has never done anything wrong to them, and they do not deserve it because they do not know what their doing wrong. In reality there are other options the bully can do besides harm others. They could go talk to someone who they can trust to solve their issues, instead of taking out their own pain on others. Bullies will tend to target others who they feel to be “better” than them.
