The Florida Project is a film about a family living in a motel and how financial hardship affects the children of this film. The family I choose to support is Moonie’s mother, Hailey. Within the film, Hailey is unemployed and having a challenging time finding a job which caused her to lose the assistance she received from welfare. Hailey turns selling discounted items on the streets and to prostitution as her main source of income. To try and support this family, I would offer Hailey a job at my uncle’s restaurant, which will allow her not to use prostitution as a source of income.

This case study will assess the government of Florida, a state government. It will touch on several important issues such as providing a general overview of how the government functions and what resources it provides, as well as some current issues the State of Florida is facing in government administration. Because the State of Florida is a state government, it tends to “resemble the national government in composition and organization of their executive branch agencies” (Milakovich, 2013, p. 21).

In this analysis we will review a case titled “The Dilemma at the Public Service Department.” We will be discussing different issues, amongst them are: opinions on the honesty, malfeasance, misfeasance, nonfeasance, accountability, competence, and why these particular responsibilities are identified. We will also discuss certain trade-offs made by the commissioner’s loyalty to the department as well as the governor, and public interest. We will also be discussing three barriers when it comes to deciding how the governor will be approached, along with the basic elements that are recommended in strategic management planning.

On the other hand, there are chemicals and drugs that pregnant women should avoid when they are trying to produce offspring and begin a family. These include drugs and certain chemicals/medications. There are certain drugs that are given to pregnant women to reduce the pain after and during labor. They include Terbutaline, which are used to stop premature labor, and Valproic which is used to stop seizures. But also, there are some mood stabilizers that affect a female's health which can increase the risk of autism in their offspring (“Autism Speaks”). Even though pregnant women do not want to experience the horrifying pain during labor, the medicines given to them may have a long term affect on their children. The main goal for females about to have children is to make sure their health records are up to date. Secondly, they do not want to be exposed or an excessive amount of folic acid or use the vitamin B12 during pregnancy, since it can increase the risk of autism in the wound (Gaby 112). There are plenty other vitamins that are sold or prescribed that do not have folic acid and do the same job as a Vitamin B12. All of the drugs given to pregnant women and chemicals that they are exposed to can be avoided or the medicines can be taken in a more natural form like certain vitamins.
