Our bodies have nine systems that makes us who we are, allows us to survive, and helps us populate the earth. The systems that allow us to do these things are the muscular system, digestive system, circulatory system, urinary system, lymphatic system, nervous system, endocrine system, reproductive system, and respiratory system. Each of our systems are unique and work together so our bodies can maintain life and give life. Bodily systems can work with chemicals and nutrients that are both on the inside and on the outside of the human body.
The respiratory system uses inhalation to obtain oxygen that is released from plants and uses the chemical to work with the circulatory system so oxygen can be delivered to the cells.
Transport- Transportation of oxygen, nutrients and hormones to cells and removal of metabolic wastes such as carbon dioxide, heat and nitrogenous wastes.
The circulatory system and the respiratory system work closely together to ensure that organ tissues and systems receive enough oxygen. Oxygen is required for cellular functions such as cell respiration. This is so the body’s organs and cells can work at fully; it is done by releasing chemical energy with in stored foods. The air breathed in and held in the lungs is transferred to the blood. The blood is circulated by the heart, which pumps the oxygenated blood from the lungs to the body organs and returns with deoxygenated blood.
The respiration system is the process of supplying oxygen to the cells so that cells can metabolise energy. The main functions of the respiratory system are to maintain oxygen supply to cells, to remove water from the body, and to remove carbon dioxide from the body.
The body has different organs that work together and they make up a system such as the
All of the body systems rely on other systems in order to function. The circulatory system relies on the respiratory system for oxygen delivery. The respiratory system relies on the muscular system for inspiration and expiration. The immune system relies on the circulatory system for movement of cells that provide immune function. All systems rely on circulation for nutrients and on the nervous system for regulatory control. These are just a few examples of how each system is interconnected, there are many more instances. It is important to know the positioning of the organs in each body system because the location of an organ often relates directly to its function and its relationship with the organs around it. For example, digestive glands
Your body requires energy in order to be able to perform tasks. Energy comes in many different forms. They are chemical, light, sound, heat and mechanical. You can get energy from different food substances i.e. glucose, fatty acids, sugars and amino acids. To be able to get the energy from these food substances energy needs to be released with oxygen. This is known as aerobic respiration. The role that energy plays in our body is the process of moving molecules in and out of our cells while breaking down the larger molecules and building new molecules. The cardiovascular system transports oxygenated blood around the body and to the cells. It will then collect the deoxygenated blood which is ready for the excretion from the cells. The cardiovascular system will deliver the nutrients oxygen and glucose via the blood stream. Oxygen is need for aerobic respiration to occur. The cardiovascular system will pump oxygen and nutrients carrying blood throughout the body. The glucose molecules that are carried by the blood are transported into the cells. Along with the oxygen that is diffused into the cells they are used in respiration to produce ATP. The respiratory system is responsible for bringing in oxygen as well as using it to burn the nutrients that we need for energy. The respiratory system contains alveoli which allow the diffusion of oxygen into the blood stream
The digestive, cardiovascular and respiratory system are all interrelated in order to make the human body work effectively and efficiently. The cardiovascular system and the respiratory work together by performing gas exchange which is passing of oxygen from the alveoli into the blood flow and then the carbon dioxide passes trough the blood flow and is breathed out from the body. If gas exchange didn’t take place then it will result in the cells dying. There are many other body systems that interrelate with each other e.g. the nervous system is interrelated with the muscular system.
The respiratory system is a complex organ structure of the human body anatomy, and the primary purpose of this system is to supply the blood with oxygen in order for the blood vessels to carry the precious gaseous element to all parts of the body to accomplish cell respiration. The respiratory system completes this important function of breathing throughout inspiration. In the breathing process inhaling oxygen is essential for cells to metabolize nutrients and carry out some other tasks, but it must occur simultaneously with exhaling when the carbon dioxide is excreted, this exchange of gases is the respiratory system's means of getting oxygen to the blood (McGowan, Jefferies & Turley, 2004).
have a variety of systems due to the complexity of the species' organism. The human body
The respiratory system provides a network of muscles and organs that helps a human breath. It brings in oxygen though inhaling and eliminates carbon dioxide through exhaling.
The Respiratory system is an integrated system of organs involved in the intake and exchange of oxygen and carbon dioxide between an organism and the environment. Your Respiratory system is made up of the organs in your body that help you breathe. The Respiratory system is the system of the body that deals with breathing. The trachea is a wind pipe. The trachea is a pipe shaped by rings of cartillage. A Bronchi are two tubes that carry air into the lungs. The Respiratory system consistes of many different organs. The organs are the lungs, trachea, bronchi, alveoli, diaphragm, nose, mouth, and pharynx. In the Respiratory system the right lung is larger and has more lobes that the left lung becuase the heart is normally located on the left side, and takes up space where the lung would had been. The functions of the Respiratory system is to supply the blood with oxygen in order for the blood to deliver oxygen to all parts of the body. The Respiratory system is also used for the of exchange gases. The importance of the Respiratory system is that it allows for the exchange of gases; meaning carbon dioxide and oxygen. These gas exchanges occur in the alveoli's and the capillaries. This gas exchange of gases is the Respiratory system's means of getting oxygen to the blood. The goal of breathing is to
The circulatory system works when nutrients and oxygen are distributed to every cell in the human body by the blood. The Circulatory system also gets rid of waste products such as carbon dioxide and urea. The heart and blood vessels together make up the cardiovascular system. The respiratory system provides the blood with oxygen from the lungs while at the same time the respiratory system gets rid of carbon dioxide in the blood.
The human body consists of many important systems. The nervous system is one of these that ensure survival of a person. The nervous system is split into two main parts. The spinal cord and the brain make up the Central
All the systems in the human body are vital to our survival and well-being. If you take away the functions of just one of these systems our whole body will cease to work properly. The main systems of the human body are the nervous, endocrine respiratory, circulatory, immune, digestive, excretory, skeletal, muscular, and the reproductive systems. They all work together in harmony and unison to keep us alive.
Even though the brain is the major control center if the body, its job would not be possible without the spinal cord. The spinal cord is the major organ that helps information travel between the body and the brain. Nerves branch in the peripheral system from, either the brain stem or spinal cord, each nerve attaches to a specific area of the torso and limbs it 's responsible for communication to and from those regions. There are three very important
