I chose this song because, in my opinion, it has a good thesis that backs up the song lyrics and it gives you a positive feeling. Basically, the song is telling us to always keep our faith and stay strong no matter what. It encourages people to
Even though AC/DC had many accomplishments they came across some struggles. AC/DC started to loose fans and became not as popular in the 1980s (stambler,1990). Fans started to break the law because of their music also during this time they lost their drummer simon wright (yamani,2004). Fans were complaining about the music they said the music was the same as the old songs and they said the songs lacked in energy and momentum (yamani,2004). After you think nothing else could happen their drummer left after drug arrest and murder attempt (Raihala,2016). Johnson their lead can now longer hit notes like he used to
In my opinion I thought the song was great. It had a nice bluesy feel and was relaxing to listen to him. King is such a great lyricist and I thoroughly enjoyed listening to him during this tune. Many people recognize B.B. by this tune and I can see why. His take on the song is very original and unique only to him. I truly enjoyed learning about the King of the Blues throughout this project and through his
"Don't Doubt Me," and "Get It Through Your Head" go hand in hand with the rock momentum, and pays homage to their original hard blues genre. Classic Zentonic styled tracks are refined on a different level, and still bares hard of belief that such immense sound is delivered only by the three gentlemen. "Just Like Music" and "Until The End" stand out for their classic rock approach in the modern age;
I first found this song a couple of summers ago, when my friend Joey showed it to me. Instantly, I became a fan of this song and a fan of Bryce Vine’s music. I chose to use this song instead of his other
Back in Black is the seventh studio album by the Australian rock band AC/DC. Produced by Robert John "Mutt" Lange, the album was released on 25 July 1980 by Albert Productions and Atlantic Records. By the late 1970s, AC/DC began to get popularity around the world and not just in their home country of Australia. In 1979, they recorded their international breakthrough, Highway to Hell. Shortly before the recording of their follow-up, lead vocalist Bon Scott died after a night of heavy alcohol consumption. The group continued on with ex-Geordie singer Brian Johnson.
Nothing beats a great guitar solo. The world’s greatest guitarists are at their best when they get to showcase talent and pour their heart and soul into the solo.
Get ready to enjoy some great rock music with Led Zeppelin. This Led Zeppelin box set is a must for the Led Zeppelin fan. Listen to their best songs on these four CDs. This is their only album that includes both Hey Hey What Can I do, and Traveling Riverside Blues. A medley of White Summer-Black Mountain Side is also a wonderful treat for fans. This live medley by Jimmy Page is something that no Led Zepplin fan should be without. Even those who are just rock fans in general will find this four CD set to be an enjoyable listening experience.
AC/DC Back in Black album was recorded in the spring of 1980 and it was the seventh studio album of the Australian band, and it was released on July, 25 1980 by Albert Productions and Atlantic Records. The album is a consistent throughout keeping the hard rock style that made AC/DC one of the biggest hard rock bands of all time. In 1980 there were other rock albums such as Judas Priest “British steel”, Van Halen “Women and Children First”, and Motorhead “Ace of Spades” to name a few that challenged AC/DC, however “Back in Black” was a clear number one Album of rock that year. In my opinion the order of the songs on this album do not have direction other than the first song with the opening bell and creepy guitar are like an homage to their
The song that takes fifth place on the album is “Wanted Dead Or Alive”. This song is a slower song, but has some instrumental elements. The ones that stuck out to me the most were the guitar and keyboard. The drums were hard for me to pick out on this track, but I know Mr. Torres was in there. After the first verse/chorus, the tempo of the song picks up a bit and there are guitar riffs with the accompaniment of the percussion instruments. “Wanted Dead Or Alive” was written by Richie
"Enter Sandman" is the opener of the album with a clean start of a eerie guitar with a side effect of wah-wah accompany. The whole basis of the song picks up with drums on the toms and snare varying each other. When you first hear this opening, you realize this is so different to their early work it is quite interesting how the outcome will be. The outcome is extraordinary with James' vocals lower than normal and music is in a different style. The only similar touch to the song is the electrifying solo that is excellent. The bridge is very effective with James praying with a child which really goes with the music. The rhythm of the guitar carries the song along till the end. This was a great release and possibly one of the best on the
The next song that sticks in my memory was “Betterman”, also from Vitology. The reason that this song sticks is that I really don’t like this song at all. The tempo and the words are just not to my liking. The song in general seems in general misplaced on this album. But, like any artist should do, I could tell right away that this was some how different. Why pay money to hear something that you have already paid for, and can hear any day. But anyway to get back to the point, this song sticks in my mind so well, because the tempo was given a swift kick. It was more upbeat, and Stone threw in an incredible five-minute guitar solo. I mean this solo, was just amazing. This was clearly an improvement on their studio recording- edition, and I would have to honestly have to say this was one of the best songs that I heard all night.
Destroyer was the band’s first released album after Alive and was needing a lot of work in order to top it. It was originally just an experimental album, but ended having three of the most popular songs the band had written. The album was released after the album Alive and it was going to be hard to top it. The band knew they were going to have to come up with new hits in order to top the others.
I chose this song because it is an artist that I do not know much about , but I do know that this song used to be very popular and I wanted to do some research on it!
