Throughout elementary and middle school, I thought of high school as a terrifying place, full of responsibilities and sleepless nights. However, as I went to freshman year I realized that high school was way more than that. Being in high school is not scary, nor hard; High school is just the place where all your dreams come true off of your hard work. It also has the power to make you see things around you from a different perspective, which will undeniably make you attached to everything in it. Yes, high school should always be enjoyed nonetheless; it will never cease to throw curveballs at you and you always have to be prepared to overcome it.
From happy moments to sad moments, from having the best time to falling asleep in class. Middle school was also a place for change. As Robin Sharma once stated, “Change is hard at first, messy in the middle and gorgeous at the end.” High school will definitely bring many changes in our lives. At first, everything may be difficult but, as each year goes by you will quickly realize that you are capable of handling it because, you know at the end of the day everything will be
People always want to know what something means to some one and I try and tell them what it means to me but I never can tell them what High School means to me it is four years long. We have to go in order to get a better degree but the thing that I always want to tell people is that being in high school help you in so many ways. To learn resposibility so that you can be responsible when it comes to getting a job and still keeping good grades. You also make friends that some will last forever and other will fade away but the important things is that you don't hide from others. You need to get out of your own confert zone and join clubs meet new poeple or maybe you wat to be in a sport see if you are good at something. There are so many things
The transition from junior high to high school isn’t all that it sought out to be, but it is definitely different. In junior high we heard numerous rumors about how difficult high school would be compared to junior high. We heard how extreme the material would be, how much more homework we would have, how the upper classmen pick on freshmen, and of course getting our first letter grade dropped. High school is certainly everything that people claimed it would be, but it is undeniably attainable.
High school, four of the most interesting years of life. It is a time to find yourself and figure out who you are and what you want your place in this world to be. During this process comes friendships that build because of alike interests and beliefs. From freshman year at the bottom of the totem pole, all the way to senior year, being the top dog of your school. It is such a great feeling knowing that those three years of hard work build up to essentially a grand finale. Many big changes happen as you grow older in high school. From summer camps, to starts of a new year. From homecoming week, to the end of sport seasons. From in school privileges to coming to and leaving from school early, and finally Graduation. This grand finale year has some similarities and some differences and as you read on you will see what I mean.
Many people say that high school should be the best four years of your life. Most of us entered high school with this idea in mind, determined to enjoy every second of it. The confidence and energy that we held that first September allowed us to dive right into what has been an amazing four
I remember being an anxious eighth grader thinking about starting my freshman year of high school. We went from being at the top of the school to being at the bottom of a new one. All of our middle school teachers always told us about how our high school teachers wont “hold our hands” and how we will be on our own. Being in high school is completely different than being in elementary school and middle school. Its almost like each year we have more and more freedom but more responsibility.
Entering high school is the beginning of a whole new learning experience. Transitioning from middle school, high school presents more classes, students, and a bigger campus. It brings new expectations and responsibilities to each of us. High school also offers fresh chances to make new friends, try new sports and activities, and really explore who we are as individuals. The goal is to maintain good grades, score high on the SAT test, and keep a positive attitude so colleges and universities will accept you. Of course it's not as easy at sounds, but it's achievable. It requires a lot of work and dedication to every subject. Some students breeze their way through while others live in misery trying to pass their
High school isn't all about work. There are so many activities such as sports and clubs. High school is a time to start preparing yourself for college. Aside from work you can every once in a while throw in a little fun! From the experience that I have witnessed my 3 years in high school, there's really nothing to be scared of. Yes, coming in as a freshman you'll have a lot of crazy emotions through your head, but after the first week it's like a walk in the park.
High school is supposed to be the best years of your life; but it is
Now high school can be a big pain in the butt, but in reality, what would you be doing at home if you weren't in school? Probably just sitting down and eating. High school is a big responsibility and a big change. Teacher's don't mean to scare you by giving you a ton of homework they're just getting you ready for the rest of your life because that is their job. You do get a lot of freedom, stress really kicks in and the people in the hallway can get on your nerves, but in the end High School is a great
A lot of middle school students have no idea what to expect when they first enter high school.I,as you thought,am one of those students.I have mixed emotions about high school because some people loved it and others hated it.Here are some things that I think about it,am looking forward to,and dreading. Most of what I’m going to say is based on my brother’s experiences.
Having the unpopular opinion of something can be scary, especially for someone who cares about what others think. Sometimes you want to fit in and or be normal with others but sometimes it doesn't feel right. I take the bus home from school every day and my bus is crowded, mostly around third graders to fifth graders. Most fifth graders like myself sit towards the back seat because at the time it was 'cool' to be in the back seat. Despite the fact that the bus is organized to have the kindergartens to be in the front seat than the first graders all the way to the fifth graders in the back there is one kid on our bus who was a third grader that always wanted to be in the back seat of the bus. Almost every day he would be bullied and get laughed
People never told me high school was going to bw such a breeze. I have became a very independent person during high school. I always have great friends to rely on. We would alway play sports together. Having these two things are a major key to a successful high school carrer. For rising 8th graders it is important to find a dependable friend and involve yourself in actives.
High school takes four years of your life and as a senior you start reflecting on what you have completed, achieved, and done during the four years. Also you start thinking on what you could have done better or what you shouldn't have done. High school includes many experiences and a lot of learning and as a senior to an incoming freshmen my advice would be not to be scared to try new stuff to join sports and clubs, learn as much as you can. Try really hard to not screw your freshman or sophomore years just because you think it will be easy to make it up you senior year. last year in high school passes and if you have to make
Although, I am not trying to leave an awful taste in your mouth before entering the doors of high school, but rather inform you the experiences that was partaken during my life. High school is not always filled with negative effects, but quite often positive benefits. The consistent mounds of English homework, pointless math questions, and crucial grading eventually pays off. Not only does the learning factors connect with school, but also in after school activities, practices, and social groups. All through this time being, our main supporters are our mother and father. Even though our parents come across as strict, controlling characters, they play an enormous role in directing us on the right path. They not only engage with our education, but lead us towards success on any given way. Always appreciate them for the unlimited amounts of care they express towards
