Bees compared to ants are one of the hard working organism in the animal kingdom, because of their hard work we should be thankful for their amazing job. For example, bees are the main responsible for pollinating. They transfer the pollen from the anther to the stigma, when they fuse, seed, nut, or fruit is formed. Must of the flowers rely on the assistant of bees for the process of pollination while others can pollinate by themselves. Bees are one of the main source of food, because without the process of pollination we wouldn’t be able to enjoy our everyday goods such as broccoli, apples, almonds and many more. Also, honey is the main product make by bees. The process of making honey begins by the bees collecting nectar from the flowers,
Pollination, produce, honey, bee´s wax, life wouldn't be the same without some of the few products bees create and work their whole lives doing. Bees are dying off, over the past few years the bee population has decreased which means some of our very beloved products have either increased in price or may be hard to find. We as humans that have so much control over this planet should help the bees so they can help us. Honeybees are an essential part of humanity.

They are renown for their collection of nectar and production of honey. Production of honey is possible because of nectar collected from flora. Honey bees store the nectar into a seperate stomach from their regular food stomach. Then they fly back to their hive where they transfer their load to
In life, relatively anything can happen for a reason. Whether it occurs upon our own actions or not, instances may arise for a new change. Within the novel, The Secret Life of Bees, our main protagonist, Lily, is tested by making a life-changing decision to either return to her father, T. Ray’s captivity, or stay with the Boatwright sisters, whom she befriended on her runaway adventure. Even through tough times Lily has endured with T. Ray, when it was time for her to decide who should receive custody of her, she was still hesitant, despite knowing what her circumstances may be if she were to choose T. Ray. Even though T. Ray is Lily’s biological father, unfortunately, is not up to par to provide her with the necessities that this fourteen year-old girl needs. I strongly believe that Lily should live with the Boatwright sisters, due to many factors they can provide that makes Lily a better person.
American literature is an important part of literature for the modern student. This type of literature is relatable to students throughout the United States, and gives advice through different time periods in American history. The novel The Secret Life of Bees focuses on a young girl by the name of Lily Owens whose life revolves around that fact that she accidently shot her mother when she was only four years old. Lily’s “stand-in-mother” Rosaleen is her only real friend, and when she insults a group of racists when she goes to register to vote, Lily rescues her and the two flee to Tiburon, South Carolina where Lily believes she can find a trace of her mother. They end up being taken in by three sisters named May, June, and August who
Bees are vital to our very survival, pollinating the plants our food and we ourselves consume daily. Their pollination is worth billions of dollars each year, and are imperative to subsistence farmers who have no other way to feed their families and villages. Commercial farmers depend on the bees to pollinate their large crops, worth uncountable amount of money.
Bee's are very important to us we need them to survive. They work hard every day outside to pollinate our flowers. And lots of other plants.
Honeybees are not natural to North America. They were imported from Europe in the 1600”s. Their honey is very beneficial to humans because it is used in so many aspects of our lives. It is used as a sweetener in syrup, candies, and medicines. In addition, its beeswax is used to make candles, wax, and polishes to name only a few. Furthermore, the honeybee is also essential because they pollinate our crops, our trees, and our flowers.
Bees are very important to our food supply. Without bees we would “bee” dead. Ha Ha, that isn’t very funny, but it is true. We wouldn’t be able to do what they do on a daily basis. Their jobs are the key to life itself, and I’ll show you.
A bee is an insect that lives in every part of the world except the North and South Poles. Bees are one of the most useful of all insects. There are 20,000 species of bees in the world (154, B: Bees). Bees get their food from flowers through pollen and nectar. They collect tiny grains of pollen and nectar from flower blossoms. Sticky nectar gets attached to the tiny hairs that cover their bodies and is distributed when bees travel from flower collecting nectar (201, B: Bees). Bees make their honey from nectar and use both honey and pollen as food. When bees are collecting nectar for food, they spread pollen from flower to flower. The process of pollination allows plants to reproduce as well as feeds the bees. Bees have become completely dependent on flowers for food. Flowers, in turn, rely heavily on bees to
First, I’m going to answer how I think they help with agriculture. Bees first of all go around and collect pollen and when they are done they bring it to the hive and the process of honey begins in the hive, once the honeycombs are done producing honey, beekeepers will go to the nest and rub the honey off and depending on how much bees are in the nest will depend how much honey you get and be able to sell it at the end. Bees help with making honey, or anything with honey products in it basically. There may not be many products out there like cows have which is a big bundle of things, but bees are really important, because they give us our honey for multiply
Bees are important to our ecosystem because they are pollinators. Pollination assists with plant reproduction, those of which provide food for multiple different species on the planet. According to the article “Why Bees are Important” on Our Green Planet, bees are responsible for pollinating one-sixth of the flowering plant species on earth. Honey bees and other pollinators have helped the United States produce $19 billion worth of agricultural crops in 2010 alone. Without bees, food sources would be limited as well. Bees are responsible for pollinating plants that aid the production of broccoli, asparagus, cantaloupes, cucumbers, pumpkins, blueberries, watermelons, almonds, apples, cranberries, and cherries (Our Green Planet).
It is important that we get our food, but bees also help fertilize different species and make it so we aren’t just eating one plant, but that we have hundreds of different types of produce to choose from.
Brit Amos begins talks about the loss of foods stating that “Commercial beehives pollinate over a third of {North} America’s crops and that web of nourishment encompasses everything from fruits like peaches, apples, cherries, strawberries and more, to nuts like California almonds, 90 percent of which are helped along by the honeybees” (Amos). Honey bees are much more famous for producing honey. However, most people do not know that “the benefits of honey go beyond its great taste” (“Health Benefits of Honey”). For example, “The 3 key health benefits of honey are related to the fact that: 1. Honey is nature's energy booster 2. Honey is a great immunity system builder 3. Honey is a natural remedy for many ailments” (“Health Benefits of Honey”). It is interesting to think that something as small and insignificant as the honey bee can provide us with so many basic needs.
