Based on the spreadsheet she showed me she has about 6 open slots. 5 of those are going to be for the Leaf line that's being moved from USP to UPA. That will be starting up around mid-September from what she said. She couldn't give me a real "wait time" because she loses a lot of employees either by their own accord, transfers, medical leave, etc. She needs a few "young and able bodied" operators.
In addition, Newton and Jones did not have their proper overtime authorization forms fill out, which is part of the policy and procedures at DOT. Supervisors trust their Technicians to fill out

CM Lantz called this evening at approx 2130 hours. She was concerned about some information she received from Lincoln Park residents regarding calls for service they were trying to make with the PD. According to CM Lantz some residents were bothered that upon contacting dispatch, they seemed reluctant to take information about possible transients being in the park after dark. I contacted dispatch and they received a total of 2 calls regarding transients in the park after dark and calls for service were generated. One of the dispatchers informed me that he was informing residents about some of the new laws regarding transients which seemed to anger the caller. I spoke with Dispatch Supervisor Larry Raines and asked that he inform dispatch to take the call and allow the officers who respond to the call to handle the matter.

Superior’s current policy of seven vacation days and five sick days a year for the employees is not ideal for emergencies and for an unscheduled occurrence that may require the employee to take a day off. The policy, as written right now, does not give Joan Jackson enough time to properly staff the areas when an employee calls the morning of shift and states he/ she cannot make it to work today. Right now, employees are using sick days to whatever his/ her need is that day, which is more than likely not in regards to the employee being sick. When an employee calls off the morning of work, without any prior knowledge, it will affect the entire company and will make it hard to cover that shift. Also, if more than one employee of that same

On March 22, 2016 I had a friend call your office requesting an event or of an accessible van for the dates April 11, 2016 through April 15, 2016. She was told that there was a vehicle available during that time in which my friend responded that they would call back to finalize the booking. Needless to say, my friend didn’t book the rental and we only did this to see if you were really trying your hardest to remedy my issue. I can only come to one of two conclusions at this point. Is there whoever answered the phone made a mistake about the availability of the rental or you haven’t been trying to resolve the issues and get the recall work done on our van as you promised. Hopefully, for your sake and is the first of the two conclusions.
