Abortion Mother Teresa once said, “The greatest destroyer of today’s peace is abortion, because it is a war against an unborn child, the direct killing of an innocent child, murder by the mother (McCuen 71).”Abortion is the deliberate termination of a human pregnancy ("Abortion Documentary" 0:07). All around the world women have tried to end their pregnancies, no matter if it was permitted or not ("Backgroud of the Issue" 1). And today it is the most common performed procedure all across the United States (Contributors 1). With the method of abortion a mother does not learn how to love her own child, and a father does not have to take accountabilities for his whereabouts. They solely obtain the information on how to unravel their complications (McCuen 72). The homicide of an unborn child using outrageous procedures is ethically wrong. The unforgiving practices of pregnancy termination began developing as early as 1550 BC by the Egyptians. After the Egyptians learned to accept the practices of abortion, the Greeks and Romans did the same between the years 384 BC and 322 BC. Therefore, the early development of abortion helped aid the continuous consideration for it to be extensively accepted among human nature, and throughout the 1800s, it was openly advertised ("Backgroud of the Issue" 4).
