A closer look at SSgt. Walsh’s behavior on the night his duty weapon allegedly went missing, was consistent with an individual who thought his duty weapon had been lost, not stolen. He first asked Tpr. I Lewandowski (Union Representative) what the discipline would be for a lost duty weapon, he then systematically searched his locker but not his vehicle. He also called his wife at home to search the residence. Moreover, SSgt. Walsh never told his wife he reported his duty weapon stolen when she offered to search his vehicle the following morning.

On 08/23/2015, at approximately 1830 hours, Officer Mozdy received a report of a fight. The caller advised one of the males had a knife out and was going after Nicholas MERVA. The individuals had left the area prior to his arrival. Officer Mozdy conducted a follow up with Nicholas MERVA who stated his brother was "jumped" the day before (8/22/2015). Nicholas said they stole his brothers cell phone and wallet. The suspects involved were identified by Nicholas as Ozzy APGAR and Sergio GUTIERREZ.

During the course of the investigation I was handed around 500 pages of documents to sort through. Sgt. Marler took around half and help me go through the documents. Due to Sgt. Marler helping the investigation was concluded in a quick manor and the case was closed.

On Tuesday October 4th, Andy Walker (16), bleed to death in the sidewalk in an alley. His death was specified at around quarter to 12 a.m. This situation was investigate even more further, and some results came to the officers of the community. After investigating, it is resulted that one of the Royals’ member was stabbed right right below the rib cage. There are ones that witnessed that he was alive for a while after he was stabbed, and died as the time passed. It is unknown who is the criminal in this case, however it is predicted that high chances one of the members of the “other gang” (name unknown), has stabbed the young royal. On 08/07/15 at approximately 1820 hours, my partner (Ofcr. Vanlenzuela No.38161) and I (Ofcr. Nunez No.36181) were working North Hollywood patrol, assigned to unit 15A84 W5. At that time, we responded 10849 Fruitland Dr for an “Attempt 211 Suspect.” Comments of the call indicated the P/R was the wife of the victim Melvin Salinas. Suspect was described as a male black “transient” armed with a knife tried to take a vehicle from the parking garage Inc# 150807003722.

On 11/28/16, at 1820 hours, I, Officer Humphries #335, was met in the lobby of the Bladensburg Police Department by a citizen who wanted to file a lost property report.

On 10-03-2016 at approximately 1300 hours, I, Investigator Slaughter #1019, responded to 975 E-3rd St, Erlanger Hospital, Trauma Unit Bed #4 to interview Don Smith a gunshot victim.

On 9/20/2016 at approximately 12:41 pm, I, Officer Hunter was dispatched to Riverbend Condominiums located at 1625 Martin Bluff Road in reference to an assault. Upon arrival I spoke with Marissa Epling, the victim of the assault and the resident of apartment number 90. Epling said that Darren Pritchett and Abigail Gladden came to her residence uninvited and forced their way into her apartment, after the door was opened by her friend, Chelsea Robertson, who was visiting her at the time of the assault. Robertson said that Pritchett was first through the door followed by Gladden.
