I find the novella unreasonable because of the way the author chooses to end the story. The tragedy of the story is very excessive, and the plot is unconvincing. Maybe If James chooses another end for the story it would be more logically for the reader. The sentences the author uses here is very simple. I felt in the tone of the author that he carries a great hate against women when he describes his heroine.
