I watched the operation on my terminal as I tried my best to remain calm. After each water pod carrying James and his people docked on the Lancer and I was given the sign that all of them were safe, I felt relieved. With such large containers without life supporting equipment and personal supplies in them, there wasn’t need of many water pods to get James and his people on board. Once the pods were emptied, the cleaning program took over and sanitized every square inch of the container. Once that was completed, it started filling up with the Black. It was going to take several minutes to fill just one, but there wasn’t a faster and quieter way to let the captain show his regret of how he has behaved. Now if the good old captain hadn’t …show more content…
“It’s me. Has he noticed anything? You have got to be kidding,” I chuckled. “Hold on! Blake, would you believe our good Captain gets and unending supply of liquor because his brother-in-law owns a color liquor planet. Actually he is one of the biggest distributors of color liquor in the 12 Galactic Territories. I was just told that whenever captain’s stores it hit a certain level, it automatically calls for a refill as soon as we dock at any port. I guess with so many women per men on board his brother-in-law must think he’s living the good life and would have to fight his way out of his bed when his rest period was over. If the man only knew that his personal clone has to have at least three large cups of the Black before she will have anything to do with him, he would laugh himself …show more content…
Give them a call so they can… I can ask. Blake do you have any more spare water pods. She wants to keep sending you the Black and stop ten minutes before we set sail. By my calculations that should be about 80 to 100 pods if we start now. But, I can delay our launch so you can bring my 20 Yellow 5 Red and 5 Black down here and move ten pods to other slots to use the openings to fill empty pods.” “I knew you were trouble the first day I saw you walk into my office boy,” he chuckled repeating his earlier statement. “Oh, that’s right, it was today.” “Hold on Blake,” I smiled and concentrated on what was being said, hurriedly over my ear communicator device. “Alright, yes they can live with him as well, he has ten rooms. I believe he will be very happy. Just hurry and go see Doctor Bishop for your papers and come down here. Also tell Doctor Bishop to call Doctor Tanner to have both of our liquor reserves expanded for additional colors and each tank enlarged. I would also like my Strike Team Commander Spenser Arson’s quarters expanded with…” “Have her tell Tanner to get the space and I’ll upgrade it along with Strike Team Commander Arson’s and Doctor Bishop’s quarters,” said
The well known Grand Canyon wasn’t always grand. About 6 millions years ago there live a princess called Artemis, she loved a lot of things like hunting, wilderness, and animals. Her kingdom was located in the territory now called, Arizona. She always had her trusty bow and arrow everywhere she went. She hunted so much that she would bring extra animals to feed the poor. But her father didn’t like that, he was selfish and forbade her to feed the poor anymore. He wanted her daughter to be normal, like wear dresses, have proper manners, and be quiet like every princess should be. She didn’t like that, her passion was to hunt, and possibly become a warrior with her true love. The fault with that dream she had no true love.
Charlie nodded in understanding. “Of course. In the meantime, however, I’m going to need dinner and beds arranged for my people. The large dining room in the hall would be perfect,” Charlie informed him as he looked over her group with distaste.
Because of the dependence on cotton, social life developed differently in the South between 1830 and 1860 as compared to other regions during that time (Schultz, 2010). Cotton attributed to almost half of the nation’s exports. Therefore, plantations were plentiful in the south, whereas the north developed large cities. Southern white society consisted of yeoman farmers, rich planters, and a small group of laborers who nearly all were proponents of slavery because it kept their profit margins high (Schultz, 2010). Southern black society faced forced labor and the fear of abuse.
“After defeating the Cyclops Polyphemus, my men grew exhausted. They grew thirsty from rowing under the beating hot sun. Sweat dripped down their heads and the ship’s deck grew moist from the mix of the salty, seawater and sweat. We stopped by on a nearby island.
Pluto watched from a monitor at the new subject in his trial. It was an elderly man near his 60s with a frail frame and thin white hair in a light patch around the back of his scalp. Through the camera, Pluto observed the man enticed by the planted shrub made for the sole purpose of luring humans who acted upon their emotion. As soon as the elderly man picked the shrub, the ground cracked open and took him into the depths where Pluto's kingdom resided. Seized into the underworld, Pluto asked for the man's name. The man frowned and shook his head, “I have no reason to tell you anything about me. I've learned by now that I should not waste my breath on people who do not know what value my breath is.” Pluto cocked his head to the side slightly,
Graff finished his call. “Well, Anderson ordered evacuation so we shouldn’t worry about them now.”

Blacky and Tru felt overjoyed as they followed the ‘sign’ to Galaxy Bee Island; to their best buddy, Curly.
“Alright, will you try to explain it to her? I … I just can’t...” I struggled to say. “Yes, I will take care of everything. Let’s go inside.” Randy said as I cleaned myself up.
"Wake up, partners," the trail boss, James called. I sleepily looked up , shivered, and saw I was the only one not up. "Here," James said, giving me the horses' bridles and saddles. "Take these and get the horses ready. We have a long day today." I groaned in reply and set up the horses for the day's long drag. I was the horse wrangler and this was my everyday job but I still couldn't get use to the idea of waking up before the sun and working. We drove the cattle into open plains against the winter's cold wrath.
“Okay call your men back to pack up comms, so we can get a move on. I will scout a place to set up shop” I said
Andromeda sat on her bed combing her hair. She looked outside to see three men in chain mail armor. She looks towards the men and realized they were not palace guards as they didn't have the red capes. She listened in, being curious as she always had been.
She didn’t remember much from the trip back to the Canyon. She’s pretty sure that she caused more then half a dozen trees to fall, and took off some of the siding of a house that she got a little to close too. No serious damage done.
There was four of them when the rain started to pour. At first they assumed, being fully capable young men, that they could out run it. But slowly the pale sky turned dark when the clumps of clouds rolled in. Like tangled knots they settled into the sky with layers and layers of circular bundles getting darker by the curve. Polluting the sky as though concealing something devious within it's in penetrable wall. Then the rain started. What was at first a simple trickle turned quickly into an abrasive downpour, and the men became unable to see seconds after they had wiped their eyes. The cold drops seeping into their cloths and distorting their vision, continuously flowing into their perception until only clumpy outlines of the shaded sea green trees that surrounded them remained. One thing they did see was the cave. The
I’ve been stuck on this planet for 18 months now. My ship crashed here on our way to Mars. The ship, called Mercy, had myself and two other people on it. One being Carrie, who was very smart and knew all the information about different habitats and how to survive if every being lost. The other member being Jim who knew all about the ship; how to fix it, how to drive it, everything you could possibly know he did. So on our way to Mars we got caught up in an asteroid field and our ship took much damage. The ship then later crashed because of the severe damage we took on. Since the crash we’ve tried to stay on Mercy as long as we can to see if we could get any info from people on Earth and so far, we have nothing. We did however escape to walk around on Mars so we
