After I have gone through this article paper, my opinion would be, e-commerce is becoming a major factor in the development of business whether it is a global or a local business. This is happening because the selection of data innovation is on the expanding pattern and hence prompts various changes in business exercises. In any making decision situation, it has never been easy and that is the situation that the SMEs nowadays are facing in their business. Before I go further with the advantages of having e-commerce in SMEs, I will first start with the disadvantages. First and foremost is the organizational readiness. According to Chong (2009), the hierarchical preparation measures whether the associations’ traits are sufficiently adequate in receiving the e-commerce. They proposed that top administration backing is the most critical component to figure out if the organization is prepared to receive the e-commerce. The mighty army consisted of approximately 8,000 soldiers, 130 chariots, and 520 horses, but what was even more astonishing was that each soldier was individually unique. Everything was made from a clay-based unglazed ceramic (Check someone’s notes for that). It was discovered in 1974 by two farmers attempting to build a well when they accidently stumbled into the tomb of Qin Shi Huangdi, accompanied by the great Terracotta Army. Ever since the discovery, it has gained the attention of millions of people, from China’s citizens to tourist to scholars, and provided us with more information about
The case has interest learning point of how environmental factors can trigger dramatic innovation in the mature industries and its impact on new type of competitive advantages. To start off, Tennant is a company that holds history of more than one-hundred years in selling equipment for floor-cleaning business. However, Chris Killingstad made radical changes in the company’s value proposition. Broadened value proposition includes safety, health and environmental values. In other words, traditional value only accounted for tangible outcomes, but they have broadened their value spectrum to engage in holistic value creation with intangible outcomes.
However, this stage model is oversimplified. Target audiences, such as IT managers, CIO and CEO, can not know in detail when they are able to move to the next stage, which conditions should be satisfied to go forward and which barriers they might face in their movement. Mehrtens et al (2001) stresses that there are three important factors, which can influence SMEs ' decision making in internet adoption, including "perceived benefits", "organisational readiness" and "external pressures". When companies are aware of current benefits

The reason is rapid changes in the technology. If any organization is not compatible with the changes it will be very difficult to survive. It is established fact that e-commerce is the demand of the time and in near future that ignores this fact will be in loss even out of the competition. Besides, E-commerce is also considerably fast and means that the business will be more efficient. Furthermore, saves costs, as the business does not have the costs associated with running the business. They do not have to pay for such things as lighting, electricity, and fittings. In 1969, Internet began life in the US and mainly used by government and its departments, researchers and scientists. In 1990s, the World Wide Web came into existence and that is when e-commerce was coined. From then until today, e-commerce has seen both success as well as failures (Turban, King, McKay, Marshall, & Viehland, 2008). The failure was mainly because the e-commerce field was going through consolidations and organizations were trying different models and structures (Turban, King, McKay, Marshall, & Viehland, 2008). The other reason was giants like Amazon were working on expanding their operations and generating increased sales. However, the future looks bright for e-commerce and the usefulness is starting to materialize. As e-commerce expands, these benefits will increase significantly. E-Commerce offers benefits to business organizations, individuals and the society (Turban, King, McKay, Marshall, & Viehland, 2008).
