Terrorism is the most concerned conflict the United States has on its agenda today. On September 11th of 2001, two planes crashed into the World Trade Center in New York City, killing over 2,000 people and causing the buildings to collapse. This horrendous event caused the U.S. to start research, prepare, and prevent the terrorist attacks. It was discovered that the planes were hijacked by a group of militants from al-Qaeda (terrorists associated with the Islamic Extremist Group). Although the United States has recovered, the Middle East is continued to be left corrupt and unstable. The U.S. stresses that the Middle East will strike again, especially because the rise of power that terrorists have gained over the past years. Since most countries in the Middle East are unfortunately experiencing such low conditions, terrorism has created a large impact on it. …show more content…

They also had a strenuous time sneaking into territory to make their attack. Today, terrorists have a much easier time attacking. There are bombs, various types of guns, missiles, and even the ability to hack and hijack. These high-tech and modern weapons have created a more massive and deadly kill than ever before, and terrorists now have a way to sneak through borders and into cities, to make their vicious strike. Over time, more and more people have been involved in terrorism, creating more massive attacks as well. These attacks have created fear within countries all over the world, making citizens scared that their life will be lost, and they rush to prepare themselves and try to prevent the attacks. Laws have been made about banning and making weapons illegal and countries are enhancing their military to fight against the terrorists. The president of the United States, Donald J. Trump, is working to create an immigration ban, that he believes will help in preventing terrorism in the U.S. The U.S. has worked on enhancing their military and preparing for
