9/11 Short Stories

Clare was back from the movie showing. She was getting out of her car and heard screaming. She looked up and saw Carl five feet above her falling. Bam! Carl hit her head and they both died.

Meanwhile, Hulga lay in the loft of the barn, and due to the lack of vision correction, she struggled to discern the amount of fingers she was raising an arm's length away. Her optical deficiency was beginning to give her a throbbing pain just behind her eyes. The paralyzing ache gave rise to such agony that Hulga had no choice but to shut her eyes and get some rest.

Out of the darkness, rivers of brilliant light and color began to flow all around her, as if a dam holding back a rainbow had miraculously burst. Then she heard the music... a melody so beautiful it tugged at her very soul. It was as if the euphony clothed her in an impenetrable blanket. She felt warm. She felt safe. Uncontrollably, tears welled up, the hymn gripping her heart, and she was forced to squeeze her eyes shut and instinctively her body curled into a protective ball.

Hayden Lynch was a lonely man. His family was killed in a car crash one year earlier. He was in the red on money and was behind on house payments. Finally, they cut his power and water. Winter was coming up and this put Hayden in a very poor situation. Not only did he not have power, food, or water, he was forced to moved to move out. He had nowhere to go. He walked the streets of his own town scouring for food. He came upon a alley. There was a fire at the end of the alley. Bad people were at the end of the alley but he had no choice. As he walked down the alley, there was a voice calling. It was a whisper saying “ Come...Change it… Change everything.” Hayden yelled “WHO’S THERE!!!” Out of the darkness a old woman came to be. My mom drove me to school, filling the car with an awkward and unbearable silence. The only noise was her thumb tapping the steering wheel and the annoying clicking of the signals. Since I am on punishment, I'm not allowed to have the luxury of Megan driving me. To make this car ride a little bit less awkward, I turned on the radio and blasted up the volume to the highest notch.

Scarlett walked into the cafeteria and was shocked to see that it wasn’t as elegant or formal like the rest of the school, but instead looked like any school’s cafeteria would. She walked in slowly and stood there for a moment as she scanned through the crowd of people who were finding their seats and sitting with their friends. She couldn’t seem to find anyone that she knew, but she could see that the room was separated into the different branches. There was a section for all of the different branches except it looked like the Protectors and the Warriors were merged into the same group.

The only way I could come out of this camp alive is to have and ally to ration food and water with. I quickly and (swiftly) scanned the faces of the (miserable) prisoners for someone i knew. One person looked particularly familiar but i could not put my finger on who it was, so i walked up to him and said ‘’hello’’ and before i could say anything more the man hugged me so tight i could barely breath. Still not knowing who this man was i hugged him back as if i had never felt

It was October 31st, 1999, one windy, cold, and dark Halloween night. Three friends, McKenzie, Baylee, and Vanessa decided they wanted to stay home alone while Baylee’s parents were at work. She told everyone she lived in a “hell house” all her life because there was constantly something going on. Doors flying open, voices, footsteps. Nothing ever stayed where they had put it. Her parents worked all the time and she was constantly terrified. On Halloween it tended to get worse but no one had ever believed her.

Later Carl and Ellie marry each other and move into the their childhood clubhouse and fix it up. Carl gets a job selling balloons to kids at the zoo where Ellie works. After many years Ellie becomes very ill and dies leaving carl with her adventure book and very depressed and

Today Jacky is going to go to visit her grandpa at the cemetery.It’s dark outside. She decides to go visit her grandpa because she was bored at her house so she goes.When she enters the cemetery she hears noise,but there isn’t anybody at the cemetery except herself. Jacky gets scared! She tries to leave but the gate won’t open she climbed the fence and something pulls her back.Jacky immediately takes out her phone to call her mom. When she calls her mom her phone beeps and it says that she doesn’t have signal so she’s crewed! A guy named Carl is chasing her around he is trying to kill her. Carl is the one he who pulled Jacky back.

As he starts his day at work he sees Bill talking to a detective in his office and looking at security tapes. When Carl saw this his heart dropped to the floor and he slowly walked to his car. As soon as he opened the door he sees the cops run after him and they catch up to him and pin him to the car. He has to go to jail but they never could find Jill.
