He walked the streets of his own town scouring for food. He came upon a alley. There was a fire at the end of the alley. Bad people were at the end of the alley but he had no choice. Confused, he asked what that meant. He quickly held out what looked like a paw. Frightened, he jumped back and gasped. “Who are you?” Once again, she ignored him. She explained how when in possession of the paw, you are granted three wishes. The first the thing that came to mind was his family. Without hesitation he said he wanted it. Holding it out slowly he anxiously snatched it. Feeling uncomfortable he hurried away but the woman wasn’t done. “Your wish comes to you as if it's a coincidence. There also comes a consequence with the wishes so be very wise of your choice of wish.” Hayden didn’t hear this because he was already out of the alley before she could say this. Without knowing what is to come, Hayden is thinking of his first wish. He got in bed and knew what his first wish would be. “I wish for my family back.” He went to sleep and was sound asleep. Out of the dead of the night. He heard a creaking noise. Hayden woke up startled and remembered he left my door unlocked. He jumped out of bed and ran downstairs. Coming to the bottom he saw his family sitting at the table. He yelled in excitement but when they turned around, it was a different story. They looked like zombies.

She packed up her office and went home for the two hour lunch that she had every day but little did she know she wasn't returning to work today. When she got home she could feel a presence in her house but she wasn't quite sure what it could be and she didn't know if she wanted to find out, so she walked into the kitchen and started making her lunch. Forgetting the bad feeling she had walking through the door. She sat down to eat her lunch when she heard a loud knock coming from upstairs. She was scared but she reminded herself that it was her house and she shouldn't be scared in her own home. So she walked up the stairs and looked in all of the rooms and checked out every little thing that could have made the noise. She walked back downstairs and now she was very frightened. There was someone in her house and she could feel it so she rushed around trying to find out what it could have been. That's when she saw it...him. After a few more minutes of waiting Anna decided to get out of bed and walk down to the food court to see if her father was there. After getting out of bed, Anna found a note taped to her father’s chair that she hadn’t seen before scripted in scribbly letters saying Based on your actions he might come back don’t tell anyone about this and he will come back unharmed. Anna hurriedly found the bag of her clothes that her mother had delivered overnight and pulled on a hot pink mini skirt and a white long sleeve crop top. After getting dressed Anna opened her door and stepped outside, there was no one anywhere to be seen. She continued to walk down the hall and there was still no noise and no one in sight. She walked straight to the elevator and went down to the first floor where the food court should be, but there was no one there either, the hospital had been abandoned and she was sure that the songbook and the object that played her melody the night before were somehow behind it all. She ran back up to her room as carefully as she could trying not to hurt her arm, and once she arrived at the door she grabbed the music book off the desk beside of her bed, tried to flush it down the toilet, and stuffed her cell phone in her bag of clothes that her mom had bought. She was about to pick up her bag when she heard a new melody right outside of her door. La, La, La, La, La, La. La, La, La, La, La. La, La, La, La, La. La, La, La, La, La, La, La. She wanted to see what was making the noise so she carefully opened her door and peeked through the opened crack. There nothing was there! She grabbed her bag of clothes and ran down the steps as quickly as she could but then she heard a voice behind her, “Aaaaannnnnnnnnnnaaaaaaa!!!!” the voice moaned “Aaaaannnnnnnnnnnaaaaaaa it isn’t safe at your house!!!!” said the voice. She spun around and saw a scrawny old man
Charlie closes the door and flops on his bed.”God I hate this place.” He thinks. “The sink is leaky, the walls are too thin, and the heater is always being “fixed”. I get home from work late at night and the neighbor above me is always blaring music. I’ve only lived here a few weeks and im already at my wits end. I haven’t bothered to meet any of my neighbors save the one that i am constantly asking to turn down their music.” He looks up at the ceiling and sighs. Thats when he hears a strange noise at first he thinks it must be one of his neighbors televisions but then it gets louder and he recognizes it as the sound of someone crying. He leans his ear against the wall he thinks it coming from. The sounds he hears when he presses his ear to the wall nearly break his heart and he immediately feels the need to comfort, to say something.
Once there was a crazy homeless man named Fredrick. Fredrick, although homeless, ran a preschool and made a decent amount of money. He just had a personal preference of living in a cardboard box rather than a fancy house with real plumbing. One day, Fredrick had just finished up for the day at his daycare and decided to start heading back to his cardboard box in his brand new lamborghini. While he was driving, he decided to take a different route. He turned left instead of right at an intersection and decided to go on an adventure. After about five minutes, Fredrick came across a bridge. Once he drove on the bridge, something felt different. The atmosphere had changed. It was dark and spooky, with not a single car to be found. He
Unfortunate for them, all of us were settled in the private bus taking us to the Church. It was already eight. Some of the overly religious oldies were getting cranky about the long wait for the boys. They wanted to leave. Just like me. Unlike some species, I loathed tardiness.
It was just a normal day in Detroit, Michigan for a fifteen year of boy named Rick. Rick was on summer break after just finishing his 9th grade year. As Rick came home from the park he saw his parents outside doing garden work. Rick had a lot on his mind because both of his parents had recently lost their jobs, and he was worried about what would happen to them. He knew that his parents were running low on money, and they needed to find a job quickly or they would lose their house. He sat on the couch, turned on the TV, and began watching the news. He saw news clips about a terrible hurricane that had demolished Haiti. Houses were flattened and families were living on the streets with no food or water. He began to realize that there were people worse off than him in the world. He began to fall asleep as the news story played in the background. Soon he was asleep, and began to dream about a poor family from Haiti who was homeless because of the storm. They were speaking to him, and asking him to help them. He woke up in a sweaty panic, and knew he had to do the right thing.
It was a dark, cold and generally gloomy September night. There were footsteps all through the street. Laughter and smiles from the children of the orphanage. It was nothing new, the children made the environment around them their home. Little Annie with the bluest of eyes was sitting on the old trash can watching two older boys from the boys home. Johnny jumped mid air for the ball, and it grazed right between his hands into the alley behind them. With a look of terror, he entered the alley. It was very dark and nothing could be seen; he noticed the ball had rolled into the corner so he set off in that direction. He reached his hand out for the ball, and suddenly he heard a huge thud from behind the bush. Moments later Annie started to worry because he has not returned. She took a deep breath and jumped down. There was no one in sight as she entered the alley. The alley was filled with a breathtaking odor.

Running, with no stop, not even too look back. He climbs onto a ladder leaning against the house. He finally gets a second and he looks back to see nothing but darkness, he reaches in his pocket and finds 4 crumpled one dollar bills and a five dollar bill. Checks his other pocket and found his father's knife. The street lights shined on it and there appeared to be a dry blood stain. Just then he looks out to the street and see’s that dark figure again, without motion it just stands there staring at him. It doesn’t appear to be breathing, just standing there. The boy looks to the next building on his left and see’s that he can jump across to it. He glances back to the figure and it's gone. The boy dashes for the next building to hear a familiar voice in the distance yell “ Thomas”. He looks back to see the figure pulling itself up the ladder. Without hesitation the boy gets over to the next building and finds a way down and dashes for the center of town. He gets to a 4-way stop and glances at the street sign “ W Barnes St”. He says to himself “Cole lives two blocks down maybe he can help me”. Once again the boy runs without stopping and with only one thing on his mind and that's getting to Coles house.
